Yes it does, but just not as much as most other games. I guess this is because it has a "handicap"/adjustable damage scaling feature, for players who really want their matches to last longer.

The players here are using middle handicap/normal damage, I think.

Dude, check out Hokuto No Ken games to see plenty of people fighting this well. It's not necessarily scripted, just takes LOTS of skill and dedication. Hokuto players can pull off (say) ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY PLUS HIT COMBOS which need the input of every single hit. Matches are won and lost in an instant with these combos and with the instant kill Fatal KO moves. Players HAVE to play with no mistakes in high level matches or they lose!!

Not so. There's no combo checking because the characters in the anime use *single* strike killing arts; the player can essentially do this too. This is one of the few reasons Hokuto No Ken is truly different from other games! Although it must seem TERRIBLE to players who aren't used to fighting this way, being the opposite of how game design has been heading, this style is exactly what people like me play that game for in the first place :D. We want to do what we see in the anime! B) :D

Sorry if I replied before; anyway, NO IT ISN'T BETTER- Garou is really the better game. And you're right about GG- I'd forgotten about it lol. But my original point was that people truly can use incredible skill in fighting games. 1 frame links between moves for example DO get done reliably by the pros (see Daigo Street Fighter matches, or Pharaon92i's channel for HNK examples etc).

Gato is not always second, the list seems to change a bit between Jae, Gato, and Grant. Terry usually takes low top-tier then its B. Jenet at upper-middle. Also big difference since nobody quotes SF3's Urien as middle tier, he is known as upper middle tier.

Mind you Garou is not SF3TS and even though there are bad matchups I.E. Dong vs Grant, everyone has a chance to win.

Granted you didn't once mention Kevin's gatling freezer or Jae Hoon definitely means you are a noob.

Kevin has great normal cancels into his BR. His BnB and stun super always for major damage anywhere on the map.

Gato is better, overall. He's got a lot of attack options but he needs a meter and corners to really hurt.

Grant is good, but he is a counter-attacker capitalizing on mistakes. Another weakness is that his only decent anti-air is his punch super.

Your last post mentioned Kevin's BR, but not his kick super? WTF. It's half of who Kevin is and what puts him in God Tier. How would you like getting hit by a free combo? That free combo only gets worse if Kevin is in TOP mode, you're in a corner, and/or has another S-super in wait. Are you playing a low stamina character?

Jae Hoon is nothing special, but he is a very solid character ranked within the top 4 alongside Grant and Gato.

yes and there are 4 tier lists made of experts in japan,usa and europe there are slightly difference between them but some of the chars are all high on the lists.

A beginner shall choose a player that fit his style of gameplay,andof course should he try all the chars before he decides wich one he wants to play.

Howard Arena's tier list is based off of win percentages with certain characters, so it's definitely not an accurate representation of who the best characters are, since it's just a small population of players who may favor certain characters over others. Some characters don't get nearly as much play as the more popular ones. Regardless, Jenet has long been regarded as upper-mid, which mind you, is close to but NOT top tier. You can argue all you want about it.

YOU, need to quit arguing. First you say Jenet is mid tier then you say she's almost top tier. If this were a popularity or favoring contest, Kevin wouldn't win. What's so appealing about his boring design? Kevin appeals because of damage, priorities, abusiveness. Tourneys are usually about winning, not popularity. Top tier characters are usually "game breakers" and they are used for that reason, to win.

B.Jenet is so awesome. I think SNK fighters have improved so much since the old days, the combos, the fluidness, everything. No way is this staged in any way, I have done many of these combos with B.Jenet. Some characters just have multi hit moves.

Have a look at is.. JDs needs perfect frame by frame execution and if its a competative match there will not be anywhere near ass many. Theres also too many coincidences where one player makes a move that is perfectly suited for the other to counter, such as when both players hulk jumped simultaneously at the start of round2 only for jenet to do her air grab.. u'd mostly do hops during a match coz hulk jumping are too vulnerable to antiairs.
