HHmmmm i absolutly adore all kinds of electronic music but.... i am the only one who thinks this one is crappy and lame ? the synth is out of tune and the drum beat sounds like a preset.... when detroit techno started become popular there was some kind of `gold rush` were everyone and everything was getting printed... i think its the case here
@iodyn mate, this track is kinda innovative when you consider Detroit techno / electro eventually defined a whole era of electronic music. TBH this particular track is a little "preset" sounding, but the whole rising/lowering melody with the mashup b-line is mindf*ck and that's whats so rare about this one, pitch it up a little to say, +4%, whack it in a mix with some other classics, scratch here and there and presto, you prob get a lot of b-boys breaking out. ;) for those who know
@iodyn you get a thumbs up there.. unfortunately for you its your own thumb up your own arse tapping on that brain yours that is permantly stuck up there.... If Drexicya had been releasing vinyl in 1987 im sure to hell it would sound something like this.. Classic abstract techno :)
well yeah, other than amazon It's kinda hard to buy mp3. I suggest finding some local record stores and find out which has the best dance music collection, other than that discogs is where it's at for buying online vinyl. There's also plently of bloggers out there sharing mp3s and mixs/sets from oldskool djs for free.
1987? this is awesome for 1987! thank you detroit.
