I was involved in a discussion on a web forum about a year ago. We were talking about how Blind Guardian has mastered layering. I was sort of joking but I thought well, if they can layer Hansi's voice in one song, why not lop four songs on top of each other.... Since this particular song has several translations it was the perfect candidate. Sounds pretty good if you ask me.

The difference is actually that there's harvest of sorrow in both regular and acoustic playing at the same time; they're not exactly the same. I think the italian one might be using the acoustic version or one of the others is..
