Interestingly, it's okay for a state to do something like that. The Federal government does not have the right to. Perhaps some states should. It will be an expensive lesson though, because the structure of all welfare programs (social security, medicare, fannie mae & fredie mac etc.) are doomed to implode. That's why socialism is bad. Democrats don't care because when it finally collapses they move in with a dictatorship like slavery. Slavery is the ultimate goal of the Democratic party.

One thing I pick up from listening to Scott is that he's not the typical.. spewing the party line... plastic politician. He seems real and not aftraid to answer questions. He didn't dance around any of the questions asked him.. that's very refreshing.

I respect a politician who comes out and is honest. The state Republican Machine tried to tell Brown not to say he'd be the vote to kill this health care debacle, but he ignored them and told the people exactly what he'd do..
Obama did the same... kinda.. He hasn't lived up to the majority of his promises.. (eing open, no special interests) He did do one thing he promised.. and that was to spread the wealth to the poorer.. well he is trying that one.. maybe brown can stop him before Obama can.
