It's a misrepresentation. Despite what this OVA implies there is absolutely no one that Chihaya loves more than Kagetsuya. This ruins the desperate love that they had in the manga.

This isn't the real Chihaya this is the fucked up Chihaya. OVA 3 and 4 really screwed Chihaya right up, the Chihaya in the manga is 1000% better in his love and devotion for Kagetsuya. Chihaya has loved Kagetsuya since he first laid eyes on him. This is pooh and that is not Chihaya.

This OVA is a misrepresentation of the manga. 1. Chihaya is not the only black angel in the world, Elvira and her children are black angels, they just don't say that in the OVA. 2. Chihaya would never do anything to make Kagetsuya jealous or hurt him that way because there is no one he loves more. 3. The OVA 3 and 4 blows Chihaya's complex way out of proportion. It's ghastly.

The real Chihaya would double-play, this isn't the same Chihaya from the manga and it's not the same Chihaya from OVA 1 and 2. For Chihaya there's no one more important than Kagetsuya and I hate the way OVA 3 and 4 undermine that and the series in general. Chihaya did not have such a massive complex and he wasn't the only black angel. Elvira was a black angel too, they failed to mention that.

From the Manga!!! I remember that! But, even though Messiah and Chihaya would make a good couple, I believe Kagetsuya can be the only one for him and be able to give him true happiness. Relationships have to be balanced or the will fall apart. There are just some things that he can provide that the other can't even though Messiah is a all powerful being and can control all electronics. But that is my own opinion of course. I agree with your view point as well since it is quite true. ^_^
