It just goes to show you that a player as talented as Doug is can sound incredible regardless of what equipment they use, and that the cliche "it's all in the fingers" does hold some degree of truth.

No. It was not his own set up. Doug, Reb, Timothy and Uriah were just hangin' out the night before the gig. So it was not the moded Engl. It was just the band's guitarist's combo Marshall who play every Thursday night. :)
