They must be careful what they teach that parrot to say. It has already been proven with Alex the parrot that these Congo and Timneh African Grey parrots actually start to understand very clearly what they say. They're not just imitating the words, they're very clever and intellegent birds.

Yes indeed they do know what they say,for instance in one of Sparky's video's he nips Wilma and then asks her if it was sore,in his other video's he clearly demonstrates that he knows what he is saying,His voice never changes even if he learns from the wife its always the same male voice he uses to say what he has learnt,that clearly is not mimic but an understanding of the words he has learnt.

he uses words like actually and apparently in his sentences self taught,99% of time he does'nt swear.
