I missed this tour when they passed through Phoenix. One of the few shows I missed back then. My friends all made it a point to tell me how great they were and how great their 16 year old drummer (Grohl) was...What a bummer I missed them then.

Dave didn't join until 1986, when he was 17 (having been born in January 1969).

It's just sad that there's next to nothing like this sound around any more. Modern music has bastardized this form so much that even the originators turn there backs and in realisation that there yet again being misunderstood. I'm going to start a band called "nothing original" then ill sell records.

Dave always was an insane drummer. Funny, I'd always assumed when he had dark hair with blonde tips that he'd just had it done that way, but he must have been letting the blonde dye grow out...

This was soon after he replace Kent and he had recently bleached his hair. Also notable is how short Skeeter's "dreads" were and all the same color.
