Need help here.. How do I connect my Sony HD camcorder into the Bose Tonematch so I can mute out crowd noise from clubs I play in for better sounding YouTube videos I do solo gigs with a vocal microphone and an acoustic guitar (No soundboard) and when my Dad films I keep getting video but no sound after he plugs a cable from Mic output of camera to the Auxilliary Output of the ToneMatch? Any suggestions? Tory TT
@rob919: d&b made big line arrays like j- oder q-series. maybe there will a new system at music fair frankfort-germany. other companies like "fohhn" germany invented the lx 601, lx 150 with an active subwoofer like xs 30. HK Audio made "elements" or italian systems like "erjk"
I have had my L1 MII for two years now. I still can't wait to get to the next gig, just to enjoy how good it sounds! I also run an open mic night, and everybody who comes out are very pleased with what they hear. I have not used it on a big stage yet, but I would definitely bring it with me as monitor so I and the guys in my band could hear me properly, and just link it out to the main P.A.
@AlanBurtonSinger If you can afford 2 B1's, get 2! I bought another after a while... I did fine, and still do a lot of gigs with just one. But the extra one does give you more headroom for the bass and more stability (sort of) in the sound... and I imagine backing tracks would "pop" better with 2, since they would contain both a drum track and a bass track. I host an open mic night once a week, and I have had an almost full band (bass, keyboards, guitar, two vocals) run through it!
there seem to be a lot of anti bose feeling out there ! can one or two of you advise me on another make thats as easy to lug around and set up that sounds as good before I go out and buy . lugging my columns base bins and mixing desk is becoming hard work cheers
What's the (honest) max spl /1m /1% D on the Hi/Mid and a single B1 unit ?
Speaker column designs have been around for at least 50 years, well known for their dispersion and range, so whats so innovative about this device? What has been done to prevent interferences between the individual drivers? Are there any (independent) measurements of this system?
@Rob919Gore In the professional audio world, there's Meyer, L'Acoustics, D&B Audiotechnik, EAW, etc... Bose IMO, sounds good for their Mid frequencies, but I find them overpowering when running flat. Along with that, they put out 'exaggerated' sound. They're way too overpriced too...
@BenisFTW Out of all the PA's I have played I have never had a clearer better quailty sound than my Bose L1 model... I absolutely am getting my moneys worth..and its so compact.. I couldnt ask for a more convient system for what I do!
@Rob919Gore That's good that you like it, it's more for like...'consumer' type applications, like DJ's and small musicians/bands. It'd definitely not for everyone though. I however think it's an okay system, just really overpriced. If you haven't tried any of the companies I listed, you have to. Especially D&B. They're amazing! :)
Question: Using the Tone Match syst., what are the best settings for the music & mic. so that one's vocals won't sound as though they are singing from far away but rather sound natural and balanced. I know there many settings like reverb, frequencies, etc, but I don't understand much. Could you tell me where you would recommend setting the options in all sections of that little turning knob on the top right area of the tone match so that one's voice will sound the way it should be heard??
I have had the Bose L1 model 2 T1 and 2 B1 bass mods.
After a year and a half I must say.. at moderate levels its fine....when you push it its HARSH... I just got my QSC K12's yesterday and I can say the K12's OUTSHINE the bose system... even at 75degree coverage... plus my keyboard stereo samples sounded very harsh... and my TC voicelive 2 didnt sound right in mono. even double mono. THANKS QSC.. im a happy camper

@roxville I'm a solo singer considering the L1 Mark II. I sing to backing tracks. Would you recommend one or two B1s? How many do you use? Thanks

Thanks for posting the video. I'd be greater if you could help me with the following queries.
Can you tell me, is this product suitable for running a club night, or is there a better Bose system for this situation?
How many L1 model II systems can be connected together to improve the sound? Is this advisable?
Thanks in advance
Hal
