My father have this RS4 and sometime when we see a M3 E46 or E92, we always doing a little race and The M3 is not more fast, it's the same that our RS4 or We "win" ^^ =P

But I'm agree with you the 335i is not a rival of RS4, it's for Audi 3.2 FSI and Audi S4

men..i had an evolution.. that will rape both of this cars and the m3... now i drive a RS4..picked over the m3..its not always about speed...sit inside the RS4 and sit inside the m3..i took the rite decision.. m3 is played out...were i live i see 10 of those a day...RS4 once in a while.. the sits are soooo nice...the back sit its just like WHOA..lots of room..i wouldnt change my RS4 for m3...nah..the RS4 was just made for a fun drive with a lot of class.. stop putting your lives in danger..relax

good choice i just got my first car a 2006 audi a4 2.0t quattro and am totally in love with it such a nice car i mean bmw's are great cars when it comes to performance but audi a4 is a nicer all around car and with quattro it can go out in the worst of weather

Meh, give the 335i a tune to match the horsepower of the RS4. It will walk the RS4 easily. The developers at BMW gave the turbo's lower boost because they still want to sell their M cars. Give them the boost increase from 8.8 psi to 13.0 psi and they're faster than the M3.

There is no performance difference. The X just means that it has four wheel drive. If anything, it is a little slower than the normal 335i due to the weight of the extra drivetrain.

Pretty normal that the 420bhp Audi took that 335i. Both cars were onmodded right? I loved the B5 RS4, not the new one without twin turbo setup, whereas BM did it right with the 335i this time.

Well I'm sorry, your highness. But what's the point in this race? I mean you got 420hp against 300hp and there's not enough weight difference for it to be significant. Plus the RS4 is Audi's top of the line for that range...like the M3 for BMW. Would've been more interesting to see the top of the line A4 against the 335ix.
