What he fails to understand is that you can photograph an oil painting and put it online, thereby exposing the painting to the same thousands of viewers he claims to have exclusivity to. So technically you could argue more for the value of traditional paintings because you are left with a tangible item after initial online exposure.
@aryan2687 digital art is best viewed on screens not printed out - same paintings- they are best viewed on canvas, you can't see texture and the real glory of oil painting from a photograph or scan no matter how hard you'll try
@aryan2687 i use both traditional, and digital mediums, and the internet and digital art are very strong, just as much as traditional. and with the net, traditional art can get just as much exposure as digital art. you just need a camera with crap ton of megapixels, and a place in your house with strong light to photograph.
this man is chose his path and motivation lot of time ago,, im just a newbie artist but im coming andrew beware, lol just kidding^^ Metroid prime works my favorite.
He does what he has to do. There are so many artist out there that perform VERY well their skills. Not sure that comparing one skills is what he would want you to think about when you look at his art. If YOU connect with his art then it's all you need to understand. Andrew is the most enlighten person I had the chance to meet. He has MANY more tricks under his sleeves. All I can say is stay tuned !
Appreciating and connecting art is a definitely a private journey. But how you carry yourself among your fan and collegues is a different thing. I am a firm believer in humility and being a constant student is the key to improvement. Anytime someone insinuate themselves as a trend setter or an industry leader, tends to raise flag for me. Let the work do the showcasing. Not the flashy appearance or the design mumble jumble. Peace to you as well.
There's a large difference between their styles; so it's a personal aesthetic choice that can't be compared. I happen to like both artists for very diffrent reasons.

I know he's done conceptual art, and it's great. Although i think the majority of his work is more graphic design.
