I have a 72 hi-boy just like your dads. not as clean but its a honest working truck. Your pop get tired of steering with those big tires on there? I know they didnt have power steering on those trucks but maybe on the sand its easier to turn? I ended up using the 69 style steering wheel, its a larger diameter than the factory 72 one thus making it easier to turn and looks way better I think. Great looking truck and great vid!

We had those extra leafs you clamp down for a load but we ended up not having to use them , the truck came with pretty stout rear springs to began with.

my dad had a 67 f250 camper special 2 wheel drive pull out a70 pinto wagon that was buried to the front bumper dad just wrapped a chain around the front bumper and around his trucks bumper and stuck it in granny gear and let out the clutch and it sucked the car straight out of the hole.without trying

Thats a sweet setup, looks like a matching camper too. Do you remember what kinda exhaust it had, sounds pretty good. Im fixing up a 72 f250 highboy sport custom with a 360, yours looks like what I would pretty much model mine after, maybe not as tall though.
