I don't know what you have against the DS, but I've had a lot of fun with it with at least 20 games. It's the developers' task to make good games, after all. It's just the console developers' task to make this development not too difficult.

Seriously, the only (somewhat) weak thing about the DS is its CPUs and RAM.

Pandora is pretty exclusive since it's a small project. But hey, the Pandora will have the exact same amount of emulation support if not more as the GP32x Wiz, since it will be able to read GP32x files AND Linux emulators...

I have had a good look at the dpad ,it looks to me like its 4 separate buttons with a button in the middle ? if this dpad ends up like a sony 4 button dpad setup it will fail , controls on the dpad need to be extremely fluid ,dragon punch and fireballs street fighter style simply don't work very well with ps1,ps2,ps3,psp style separate buttons , i prefer the cross shape controls from nintendo systems and sega systems

there were not many complaints.

D-pad is one piece, with four buttons under it (one for each direction) which is how the majority of all D-pads on the market are built. PSP, PSX, PS2, PS3 D-pads are actually one piece. Only the piece holding it together is under the case, and the directions are above it. I used to complain about the very same thing before I tried it, now I prefer it over Nintendo style (cross) D-pads. Saturn style will always be my favorite though. Btw, PSP1000 D-pad is inferior to PSP2000 and 3000 D-pad.

Its looking good but im not convinced about the games controls for the dpad and i would really like to see a close up of the dpad and analog nubs,actually can we have a close up of all the game controls,buttons and shoulder buttons.

Very good apparently. It'll support any open source media player, and a plethora of codecs/formats. According to a few forum posts I read once, it can play 780p with little problem (Of course, the screen isn't HD enough to display at 780p, but it'll display as high quality as it can)

The iPhone 3GS contains the new Computing technology called OpenCL. As said, they will be appearing on the netbooks as well to make them as powerful as a PC with great performance and speed, and still a cheap price. Will you be thinking on implementing this new technology to the Pandora?

This can run full fledged OpenGL games, no cut down cell phone version needed ... that being said NO iPhone or netbook will ever be able to come close to a PCs performance/speed ... and this runs linux, meaning yes OpenCL will run on it

Great stuff, fantastic to see Outrun running so well. Will probably be a bit easier to play with the analog for steering I reckon, it was always tricky with keys on the pc.
