@lehighballa1 It Doesn't unless you are trying to be a 0.3 mph bowler, speed does not matter. It's the Roll, which give the ball energy, which pushes the pins into each other, rather then shooting them into the back of the machine. leaving a pin or two in most cases.

This caused the ball to hit the pocket at a slightly different angle. The guy left behind a 10 pin, meaning he was 9 degrees off. 9 degrees for a little extra speed.

@lehighballa1 speed isnt as important as hitting the pocket and make the ball hit the 1 and 3 pins for righties, 1 and 2 for lefties, then having the ball hit the 5 and then hitting the 9 for right or 8 for left. this game isnt about speed at all. you want your ball to react and hook to hit the pocket. if it doesnt youre gonna end up with shitty results and will never make it anywhere in bowling. in bowling you want a controlled explosion of the pins to see results.

Yeah faster doesn't mean better. A good speed to have If you throw it straight is 20-22mph. With a small hook, that comes down to 17-19mph and with a large hook, 15-17mph. It all depends on what angle the ball comes in at.

@michaelmyers1993 it really dont matter what size ball u use. if ur leavin the 10 constantly all u have to do is on ur setup move ur pivet foot back 1 inch this will allow to be tighter in the pocket and allow the 2 pin to hit the 6 pin right into the 10 and or the 2 spin off the 6 into the 10. so what do u average? what kind of ball u use? i have 7 balls myself lol. and do u hook the ball hard or more straight up player? im versitile

i average like 185. i use an old school hammer 4d. i got it for free, and it still hooks better than most balls coming out on the market today. im somewhat versatile, i hook hit like in between a high medium and strong hook, not too strong though. when i get pissed off ill turn into a tweener and just throw it at the pocket and let the ball hook through it and strike. my spare ball is a track equation
