dislocated shoulder at hospital

My shoulder was out for 2 hours when it dislocated. So many tests and x rays I wanted it in! So painful I thought I was gonna pass out. Now it;s been 2 months and I still feel pain or it feels like it rolls around when I swim =( Sucks a lot.

@hypertune483 Unlucky mate. I did that and if you think 2 hours is bad mine was out for about 8! Mine rolls around too and at least yours never came back out whilst swimming - mine did! :(

i couldn't help but laugh out loud at this because i dislocated my shoulder, tore my labrum and fracture my humerus 2 years ago and went through the same exact thing. they left my shoulder dislocated for over 5 hours to run a bunch of tests, x-rays and shit. it was the most painful thing i've ever been thru in my life.

Dislocated mines June of last year. Hurt like hell and went to a clinic to get it popped back in. And just yesterday I dislocated it again. But this time all I did was put my arm up against a fence and it popped right back in by itself.

actually i had no pain at all the whole time and ive done it 3 times and the doctor said its the worst dislocation he had ever seen. it was a 10 ft fall off sand dune doing a flip but tripping non grass lol. 2nd time got ripped out by a guy when playing bball and 3rd time was dunking :) now i having open surgery in 2 months =(

Did your shoulder pop back in immediatelly after dislocation? If there is a quick in and out, then there might be little pain. When mine was popped back in it was like the pain was gone but the damage has definitely been done.

A true dislocation isn't like how they show on tv and movies of being able to flop around. Every time I dislocated my shoulder, which is about 12 times now, I can feel the bone pushing against my armpit cutting off circulation. Even when it's been reduced, it's not weak for more than 30 minutes after wards. I'm sure he was just exaggerating.

Ouch! I know how painful a dislocated shoulder can be 'cause I've got a problem with my joints so I've had at least 100 shoulder dislocations (300 dislocations overall). In fact, my shoulder's dislocated right now!

i had my shoulder dislocated 4 time the first time i ended up in the hospital hahah that shit hurts like a mf after that i dislocated it like 4 times and i put it back together by puling it my self haha
