Just because the majority of them are voting for Obama doesn't mean that they are following their parents. These children did their research about both of the candidates. You can tell from their responses that they are informed about politics. Don't assume that their choices are a result of their parents influence.
Perhaps I'm a bit of a radical, but if they've really done their research, why haven't they stumbled onto the important place of independent candidates in the political arena? They mention the value of diversity, so if they've done their research they ought to know that there is much, much more diversity in American politics than "Obama on the left, McCain on the right".

These kids know more about politics than I do 0_o I'm really glad that they were taught about politics this early. I'm in the tenth grade and only now am I learning about this stuff.

Yeah I think the school system teaches kids about government and politics way too late. Seriously in 11th and 12th grade you're mostly think hell yeah I'm almost out of here.

I was against that as well. I am against ALL welfare. Corporate, farmer, and for people. All taxes should equal no more than 10% total of any person or corporations income. The church can then get back to helping out people down on their luck. Government should get back to doing only what the constitution allows. Obama will try to destroy the constitution. If you voted for Obama, you are the fool, not me.

He will be your president then, and you should support him, or at least give him a chance. Many people dislike him because McCain ran a campaign of hate. His was one of hope. Regardless, he certainly can not do a worse job than the current president (Wars,Torture, Warrant-less wiretapping, the economy, and civil rights. . and on and on)
