ray (the one jummpin) actually did his 10,000th jump this month. nice one raysa. his name is ray palmer and yes he still part owns skydive byron bay. if you ever come for a tandem here you might possibly be jumpin with him! he is also the skysurfing instructor

Heck they should recreate it again.. i love this ad and the nostalgic appeal but quite dated today if reused, besides the music - fluro t-shirts, the parted longish hairstyles. Introduce current young skydivers using the same idea.

He still owns Skydive Byron Bay as far as I know - called Ray something. He signed off my A licence last year.

I love this ad - it was this ad that got me into skydiving back in the 90s. The guy who did the surfboard jump used to run a skydive centre just outside Byron Bay.

Useless fact: it took over 300 practice jumps before they could film the sequence.

..oh,.. and it's the same guy not three different guys.
