  • ok you shouldnt be dumb enuff to know what button you press in the darck

  • Having all the gadgets is fine..Battery life is a high point of importance personally

  • I want this phone......

  • does it heat up at the cam side or top of the phone?

  • GUYS ITS BATTERY IS SUPERB AND PHONE FUNCTIONS IS AWESOME....BETTER GO FOR TIS THAN IPHONE AND SAMSUNG

  • Two importent questions, If you move the phone to its side does the bottons change so typing is more wide? Also How is the response time? Thumbs up so this could be answered.

  • the little lights will help! its only three buttons and so long as you can see the lights in between them someone should know which is which on their own phone

  • How do you access your app manager with this launcher?

  • When I watched this video I was listening to the guys voice.

    "Definitely Singaporean"

haha looks like i'm right XD

Singaporean's do have an accent huh...

BTW I have this phone, It's not bad and the screen and is BIG but what I don't like about the MIdnight blue/black version is that that back cover gets a lot of finger prints.. but it's good.. quite.

  • is there any prob wid the phone..like slowing down after a few days of using..?

  • I LOVE THIS PHONE AFTER WATCHING THIS VIDEOS. I WAIT THIS PHONE'S PRICE TO DROP ABIT THEN BUY AS NOW ITS QUITE EXP.

  • great review bro!

  • So Xperia X10 or Arc? I like the X10's interface layout, especially for Timescape/Mediascape, looks little easier to use too, but the Arc is more updated, has that HDMI port and it looks bangin

  • The Arc is an amazing phone! Ive had it for a month now.

  • why would anyone want to buy one of these i remember having x10 customer support was poor at best and when went into the high street kensington store the staff were crap

  • sony ericsson xperia arc or neo?

  • @miiiikeh the neo is a nice phone but the arc is better

  • @britalishous does the xperia play comes with the bravia engine and the sensor exmor???

  • @miiiikeh no it doesn't

  • @a3HeadedMonkey damn.... :,(

  • @miiiikeh i think it comes with the bravia engine just not sure about the sensor exmor

  • where is the sleep/wake button?? how do you make it sleep

  • @xthomaz1 Power button on top...

  • i don't like the widgets its very bIg..

    thats my opinion

  • omg 2 more years and we gonna have flying phones

  • did he say singapore?

  • I still can't believe the Arc don't have front camera for making video calls.

  • @natfx7 Its a shame, but there isn't a phone that has EVERYTHING yet (Will there every be?) If you want a phone to make video calls, don't get this one..

  • The Xperia Arc is already released in SingTel. Do you have any news for the Xperia Play and Samsung Galaxy S2, of when it's going to be released?

  • I like this skin of youtube better!

  • should i buy this or lg optimus 3d. or hav u got any other recomendations????

    please reply???

  • I would like to know if you can choose a theme or do something to get rid of that horrendous blue color in the menus. I've tryed my girlfriends Sony Ericsson Mini and I got tired of that blue color in just a few minutes.

  • in your opinion, what andriod phone shall I buy?

  • When will this be release anyway? I've been using the Nokia 5800 for whole year and its suck the more I updates its firmware the more suck it get. Well I just don't like iPhone cuz it doesnt have bluetooth lol. sharing something with your friend is what Smartphone should be able to do.

  • Great review thanks!!

im seriously thinking of getting this lovely phone!!!

  • I approve of this review!

  • Kinda wish it had a cam in the front.. I think its time that Iphone has competition and I think if sony can get ALL there tech together it could get done

  • How would you compare this phone to the Desire HD? I just got the DHD and like it a lot but the design of this is just WOW! and the lighter weight is welcome, as is the better camera, and better speaker, hopefully the sound quality with headphones is better then the DHD as well.

  • eventually found somone from singapore that does stuff i love. i make videos aswell but not as good as yours :)

  • plz can any 1 tell me abt its battery backup !!!!!!!!!!!

  • do you have any idea on when this will be coming to the U.S? and which carrier?

  • Excellent detailed reviews clearly pronounced. Feel fun watch thanks.

  • Is Borat doing this In Depth preview ?? :)

    Verry nice device !!

  • i've seen in other vid. they somehow become laggy wen scrolling different homescreen. did u experience while using??

  • @silvercado Surprisingly, I didn't experience any significant lag when scrolling through the widget screen, and that's something I experience in most other Android devices. One thing I noticed in other devices like the Dell Streak is that the widgets need to reload itself when you scroll to it, but it doesn't seem to happen on this phone (pay attention to 07:45 onwards).

  • @silvercado the lag that you have noticed is basically the timescape UI being updated, in most of the CES videos its clearly visible that those contact cards are trying to refresh with facebook/twitter updated each time the page is accessed.

Personally i find the timescape UI to be pointless and just be done away with.

  • @dysfunxun tat wat i thought as well... but if v take a look at other devices from other manufacturer such as hd desire... everythime the fb or twitter got updated it didn't create any lags at all, it simply run smoothly wen u scroll around esp wen u do the helicopter mode. i too find timescape pointless in fact i don use fb much these days. i only hope it will b better wen the final version released. do u have any ideas how much it wil cost if want to buy it straight away without contract?

  • @silvercado its roughly in the range of 650$-700$ for network/sim-free .

  • @dysfunxun hey thx for the info. it is pricey! might go for galaxy s II instead dual core!

  • @silvercado that would be sold at even a higher price. but definitely the increased ram helps a lot (double of arc /1GB ) , android multitasking is at another level post 768 mb of ram.

  • @silvercado thats because they did the video either with a prototype or the early release,, the new updated version is absolutely lagless

  • wich handy is better the lg optimus speed or the sony arc?

  • @TH94persia I believe that the LG's faster, but even though the arc can't film 1080p I think arcs still gonna be better quality.

  • what? afcoussss I make phone calls with a smartphone!lol

wayy better explained compare to other sites

  • We dont notice it's lite, ur the one who has it in your hands.

  • Very nice device, i think i might have to get this when it comes out, i was going to get the Xperia x10 but im waiting for this now.

  • How is the battery usage? A SE rep stated that the screen on this device used less power at full brightness than even a Super Amoled.

  • @metcard I managed to get about a full day's use on a full charge, so it's not too weak. I haven't heard about the using less power part though, but it's possible that that's the case.

  • I don't understand why SE didn't put a front facing camera???

  • @ShwiniTheBest it does doesnt it

  • @ShwiniTheBest You pointed out the missing thing which is the front camera in ARC. This is basic thing for making video calls. I am sad to know it.

  • is there a task manager/multitasking capabilities

  • @MediaMogul0225 Of course! It's running Android :) Press and hold the home button on any Android phone to switch between applications.

  • thanks much, great device, must be my next :D

  • ooh the Samsung Galaxy S - Home button is physical - hit on it brings up the android from standby mode. :)

  • Wonderful explanation. Don't mind the haters. :)

  • what's going to be the price of the phone? and is it going to Singtel?

  • @TheLzh We don't have any information on availability yet, I'm afraid. But I have a feeling that it might not be exclusive to one carrier, though that's just a hunch.

  • @65bits I Diagree, I Dont Like Android On This Phone Because It's Too Similar To Android On Other Phones. I Would've Liked It Better If Sony Ericsson Customized It More...Like A Improved Version Of Timescape.

  • @07liberian Yea, agreed. It'd be better if Sony Ericsson supplied much better widgets like what HTC does. The good thing, though, is that you can get really useful widgets from the Marketplace.

  • the blue theme kinda gets boring after awhile....

  • thumbs up for singaporean accent. (Y)

  • Sony ericsson Singapore? Erhm how do you actually get that to do a review?

  • Great video! Hopefully more exclusive videos to come!

  • great video. I wish this phone had a stock android 2.3!
