Not all are Harleys in some of those films. Outlaws rode all kinds especially British ones until the late 60s or early 70s. It was also about enjoying the ride not just looking good.
I think they should re-edit the film and add a few more scenes from other films that I can think of from older films from the 30's featuring characters who rode H-D's
If You are going to make a film about Harleys in the movies then start from the beginning.
But hey, It was a first effort and I'm sure the H-D Museum will only get better.

Yeah I know.
Brando rode a Triumph in "The Wild One",
It was Lee Marvin on the Harley.
