Great cover and I love the exchange of German for Russian, but I didn't "Like" it until Amanda had to stop and say that she'd fucked up - it's not a true Amanda Fucking Palmer cover until she's fucked up at least once!

I love how Amanda switched out the Russian for the German and makes it hers. She doesn't just play the song, and try to match it, she pays her respects to an amazing artist. That's what a cover should be.

I actually liked this version a lot. Her struggle with the vocal range adds a weird sort of passion to the song. Not everyone is the vocal virtuoso that Regina Spektor is. But yeah, the original is better.
