Beautiful bike. I'm fixing up one just like it - DX version from 1976. Do you by any chance have the original color-code for that olive green. It looks amazing!

this is not an original colour, Yamaha did not work with colour codes. My FS1 is now in an original green colour from the 70's.

wow !! i've not hurd one of these bikes running since i had my old T-reg one in 1986,mine was metalic maroon,nice condition,i loved it,but it was too small for me,so i sold it for £80 (if only i'de known about the prices these days) i then bought a Suzuki TS50er,Then suzuki TS50x,then a Suzuki GP100 with Micron eg..i love these old bikes :-)

I have a very nice Yamaha FS 1 from 1974 for sale here in Holland.

It has been completly restored and is like new, I include the original FS1P manual and the roll of tools, just placed a new batterry so it's ready to start and go. if you want to know more write me, cheers, joopio

Registered on 23-4-1975 in Paris, that is what says the registration plate on the frame... serial numbre: 599.... French bike, made in 1975, WITH Kenny Roberts transfers

that bike's an FS1E DX...identified by having a front disc brake and striped tank...also the exhause and handlebars on that bike are non-standard

disc brake on a 75' thats wrong, they first build the discbrake version in 76' and newer

met die F5B ging ik zonder aanpassingen en met die hoge uitlaat iets rond de 60.

Dit is een imitatie hoge uitlaat, maar nu zit er een originele uitlaat op. Heb hem trouwens een jaar geleden terug uit elkaar gesmeten om terug opnieuw op te bouwen, hier zit een F5B cilinder op, nu heb ik een originele FS1 cilinder.

Mooie FS1

Heb er ook zo eentje gehad (gele), maar wel heel lang geleden (1976-1978).

Daarvoor een Kreidler, die zo vaak kapot ging dat de Yamaha voor mij zoiets was als vanuit de hel in de hemel komen.

Stuur en uitlaat lijken me niet origineel.

die yamahatjes rijden echt zalig, hij ligt nu jammer genoeg alweer een jaar uit elkaar, heb hem opnieuw gespoten in het ivy green, en wil hem opbouwen met kontjes zadel uit '69 en zijkapje met deuk voor hoge uitlaat zoals die hier, maar dan die originele, ik ben trouwens Belg :D, bedankt voor de reactie

ik maak hem op naar eigen smaak. :D
