  • @eimead practice more?

  • Guitar "Lesson"... for those of us who've spent 200 years alone in their rooms practicing, maybe...

  • Looking at his left hand fingers my wife was scared - she fears spiders!!

  • If you like this, search for Tom Long, he plays DADGAD tunes to in a simulair style.

  • Look at hiss fingers... holy shit!

  • reallly nice .....peace

  • Does anyone know.. where can you get tab for this piece? I just bought the DVD, and it doesn't seem to be there. I'm completely bummed!! :(

  • Wonderful playing.

  • Simon! How long would you have gone on for if it was not faded out?? :-)

  • Lovely stuff and a friendly helpful guy too.

  • Mmmm - love the song - can't see me being able to play it though, when I get the DVD in the next few days!

  • truly beautiful

  • that's all well and good for people with 800 fingers, each one more talented than the last, but what am i to do?

  • @eimead

Check this tune out carefully and you find that the rhythm is in the picking pattern added to by some hammer ons and pull offs with the fretting hand. Basically it is not complex - it just sounds as if it is.

  • THAT IS ABOUT AS PRO AS YOU GET !

  • c'est magnifique bravo =D

  • I love your music, keep up the good work guy ;)

  • Bonjour,

    Joli morceau!!!

  • Awesome !

beaucoup d'emotion, de fluidité, vraiment, tres beau !

  • Is there a transcription for this piece?

  • What can I say... GREAT; light sound and a wonderful performance.

  • Missed you at the Elora seminar this year! Hope you make it next year.

  • cool

  • This is nice stuff.

Airy melodies with a windswept outdoor feel, played with a smooth fluency that belies an assured technique.

Did I mention the tune was good too :)

  • i definatly couldn't have said it better:)

  • what guitar is simon using in the piece?

  • Looks like a Taylor 514C

  • It's a Taylor 514C; mahogany back/sides with a solid red Cedar top. I had one for a year; after watching this I wish i hadn't sold it.

This one might have the newer pick-up system.

  • pretty good song, buti'm in awe at the size of the guy's ring finger o_0

  • He's a true master alright, and it shows that DADGAD tuning is'nt an exclucivly Irish thing.

  • great simon

  • Tharmon is a true master. I have worked with Simon and trust me he's the real deal his sounds just fill the air, doesn't mind a beer either...avtually a well rounded bloke.

    Ha (Hi Simon)

  • I could never do that! What a talented man. Thanks for sharing.

  • Very beautiful*****

  • lovely and fluid playing style!
