This reminds me of when I had my V.W. Bug shop. I mostly only worked on Beetles and V.W. buses but occasionally one of my German or Hungarian friends would show up on Saturday afternoon in their BMW or Mercedes. They figured that since I worked on one German car.... well..... Then a bottle of Riesling would suddenly appear...out of no where....and by the time we got the car fixed we had a grill goin with Brats & cheeses and the whole works. It was Oct fest at my shop about once a month....LOL

i went to oktoberfest in munich last year. too crowded and cant get a table unless you fork over huuuuuge amounts of money.....like 5k euro. Go to the smaller cities. it's just as good and not really all that much better than the other fests as it is. Germany has fests all the times in all the cities. I go to fests al lthe time and they all the same for the most part. Giant tent with lots of beer and a little bit of shit to do outside.

there is no age limit on alcohol in germany, but if you are like frekin 6 years old, you have to be with an adult to drink duh. i lived there for 5 years, when to oktober fest 5 times and i seen what its like. i cant wait to go back someday, was born there, and i will go back.

If you get a chance get into Augustinerzelt tent it is a very friendly tent or Hackerzelt tent which holds 10,000 seats but there all good I go every year. You could try to get into Hippodrom but it is a celebratity tent and always busy at night and weekends it's see and be seen tent
