The cta gun controller is str8, I got two last year, its no PS move but its fun tho. I ended up only using one. Im selling it for $35 plus $6.99 for S&H, if anyone is INTERESTED! Just hit me up on a message. Its brand new , never used.

It's for llamas that want to feel a gun in their hands while playing a computer game - at least the move/wi controllers made sense in making the orientation of the controller make sense...

These serve no purpose except to provide a sense of holding a "gun" while doing the very same thing and employing the same actions (although more uncomfortably than just using the standard controller..)

you know what i was thinking would be awesome for the gun to have a motion sensor. They need to get together with sony and ask them to put in a six-axis in the controller so you could aim at the screen and look around with the six-axis. this would make everyone wanna get the gun.

I can and do shoot REAL guns from either hand, Im just saying why would a company make a product that it only based on a certain playing group, I mean the have the option of changing the controls in game for a reason. As of right now I'm lovin' Modern Warfare Reflex on the Wii with the Wii gun... It makes a world of difference in the gameplay... I wish the PS3 had one... Play control makes all the difference in the world...

I wouldn't say that its for 'show' only, like you pointed out. The mechanism makes the game-play easier and more fun to play -- especially since the shooting button (R1) is linked to the trigger.

Pointless gimmicks like sound that comes out of it... having a scope which cannot be used. Why have these things on it? They add to development costs.

While this is a first of its kind, we hope to keep improving the product in the future, based on your feedback. While it is simple to make motion detection accessories for Wii (with the controller snugly fit inside it), its not the same for PS3. However, given the limitations, we added the movement mechanics in a way that can easily be picked up by the players. (contd..)

You guys saying he isn't even moving his gun... That is because there is no MOTION SENSOR in it. You still have to use the analog sticks/dpad to move everything. The gun is pretty much there for show.
