  • 25 people have the last name Anslinger

  • 25 pro-drug war politicians watched this video.

  • This is gold. I tip my hat to the genius that made this.

  • What makes me mad is that not enough people are mad about these backwords drug laws.

  • Search Youtube for HOW WEED WON THE WEST

...featuring Ethan Nadelmann of Drug Policy Alliance!

  • All drugs need to be legalized so at least we can stop fighting with ourselves about it. Drug companies would be able to sell the real drugs to users, No more pushing other drugs if we need them our Dr.s will tell us. Alot of revenue in. Jobs. No longer being taxed for "The war on drugs" is money in the bag. As for the unemployed DEA they can skeleton crew it and work on eliminating illegal sources, The rest can work as security for the new Drug companies and suppliers. ETC. All good

  • Your "bottom line" probably wasn't in reference to this but the fed grown research bud in MS came up in 90's replacement for marinol. They're still looking for Co. to produce & market it. They call it the new "Bottom Line" It's a suppository. They figure mm patients wont abuse it since you have to stick it up your bum. I find it rather insulting. Here's article from June 09 tells all about it. Scroll down to 'In the bum' memphisflyer . com/memphis/high-times-in-mississippi/Content?oid=1525380

  • Would voting aye have any super crazy side effects? No runny nose, panting, sudden projectile burping , baldness, blindness or bitterness? I am in, "Aye".

  • I think one of the things that makes the War On Drugs all the more futile,is; the ads on TV for "medicines",which can hurt you as much as they can help you...The next first step in fighting a War On Grugs is; OUTLAWING DRUG ADS ON TV AND RADIO...

  • I second that notion!

  • All those in favour, say "aye".

  • aye!

  • Absolutely right! Would love this to be on TV. At great cost this war is destroying lives, law enforcement, governments, nations - but making the dealers rich. It's time to put alternatives on the agenda.

  • Very very well put together. Its crazy how its all true also.

  • well done, and great animation

  • ooo did you say vote Obama/Biden

  • The whole capitalist system has to go!

  • Do not mix incarcerex with constitution or common sense ..... XD omg !!! XD

  • Prisons are not the answer.

Soon, mass unemployment and homelessness will eat into the psyche of America. As people loose hope, they will turn to drugs and alcohol, and crime. After the empire falls, there may well be some uprisings...quien sabe?

  • It's so true.

  • Obama is for the decriminalization of marijuana. (Not legalization... but marijuana smokers should not be thrown in jail with rapists and murderers).

To help Barack and Joe win the 2008 election:

    1. Get out and vote!

    2. Stay Positive!

    VOTE OBAMA/BIDEN '08

  • Get realistic. Screw your "stay positive" BS, and screw your support for the current puppet.

  • x lol this video kind of made me horny D

  • Fantastic!

  • brilliant and true

  • I agree!!!

  • I love it.

  • If you've got bad arthritis and get in a pain management program you can get prescriptions for Vicodin, Ultram, Oxycontin, etc. If you don't have insurance and you score a small amount of opiates to "self-medicate" you can get 5 years in prison. What's wrong with this picture??

  • Great video.

    Win :)

  • Here in Britain, police frequently search people for drugs. They break down locked doors, imprison people, and generally bully ordinairy folks into handing over their drugs. Bullies, that what they are. The war on drugs empowers the state, and increases the price of the drugs, and importantly creates the illusion that somehow "legal drugs" are good. Heroin, Cocaine and cannabis are just products of simple plants...

  • this is a good one

  • This is why, assuming job openings exist and I get hired on, I'm going to enter a career as a public defender once I graduate from law school this year. I've put in time at a mid-to-large sized prosecutors' office and while they do a lot of good for the world, I couldn't help but notice the "conviction at any cost" attitude that lingered behind the scenes. As far as I'm concerned, that "any cost" should never include basic rights and civil liberties.

  • We are human animals. We have the right to consume any plant from nature we want cause we came from there. The drugs/medicines produced from nature beats the patented (non)in-organic chemical Pharmacy drugs. The 'war on drugs' is funded by the Pharmacy industries cause they want to sell you their drugs.

  • @ase010

Err, NO. Morphine is natural, Dioxins as well. Neither is good, while scientific medicine in controlled doses is much better. Cannabis is good because it is a safe drug but it has nothing to do with it being natural

  • Smart criticism, thanx for doing this.

  • In Holland Drugs & Sex is legal for personal & recreational use. You can buy weed at coffee shop for example and just get taxed. We have the lowest crime & prison rate in the world.

  • @ase010 woot! Holland!

  • @ase010 It's not legal your goverment just looks the other way. and prostitution is legal practically everywhere.

  • Hilarious, loved it.

  • brilliant

  • Really well done.

  • haha genius

  • that was a yummy bit of satire.

  • brilliant

  • Are you afraid of losing your erection... errr... election?

  • Fucking brilliant, loved it.

  • I love it!

  • HAHAHA

  • effin genius.

  • You gave the guy an arrow-dick that said "polling numbers", as if incarcerex is viagra?? HAHAHA! nice

  • prohibitia-chloride is a very nasty substance. I wouldn't recommend this drug to anyone.

  • Our government at work incerceration rates are up 1 out of every 100 americans! We should feel horrible about both the war on drugs and the idiot leaders who run us! VOTE'EM OUT 08!

  • this is fantastic, thank you!!

  • YES!!!! fuck bush LOVE WEED!!!

  • i know all iam saying is based on the way congress is and these big companys lobby to keep it illegal i want it to be legal i want to go out on my front yard and blaze up without fear of arrest.

  • WOW! Nice video!

  • while this is a good vid and truthful weed will never be legal because the gov makes too much money off it as well as big companies plus it helps them control the population by locking up those that oppose them and scaring the rest.

  • I wouldn't say it will never be legal. In the past several years there have been huge improvements over legalization. We didn't decriminalization or medical marijuana. And now we have groups and politicians fighting for legalization.

  • Mr. Bush has decreased the SAMHSA budget by nearly 200 million, and increased law enforcement and court budgets by half a billion. I know he doesn't represent the majority of our government, really ANY majority, but its going to go through. They want us, need us to use illegal drugs, they make pot the most evil because it is used hte most among American citizens, other than prescriptions, but thats okay, they make money mroe easily that way. Fucking idiots, or criminal conspiracy?

  • How much is a bottle of this prescription. They might just find it cheaper than therapeutic bullshitting.

  • Bill Maher should put this on his show.

  • can we some how get this on the media

  • This will not be shown on the media because we regualr citizens do not control the media. Those that have the most to gain from prohibition control the media. That is why Cannabis continues to be demonized. The sad thing is that the moral majority(sheeple),still buy into the idea. Those people will believe the Earth is flat if our "leaders" tell them it's so.

  • The war on drugs has cost billions. Combined with the patriot act throwing cannabis smokers in jail violates at least 3 amendments that I can think of from the Bill of Rights. Barging into sick people's homes with no warrent and throwing them in jail while they are on their death beds. It sickens me to think our nation has allowed this. Restore the Bill of Rights and Vote for Ron Paul!

  • One of the most significant favorite organizations addressing this topic: LEAP (Law Enforcement Against Prohibition). This is a group composed of retired AND ACTIVE law enforcement professionals (police, DAs, judges etc.) who have chosen to take a stand against the insane, grotesque and endless "War on Drugs".

    Continued...

  • Continued...

Which, considering how rigid and backassward, many (most?) cops and judges are when it comes to this subject, I figure this isn't a very popular stand to take, so I just admire the heck out of these guys for having the guts (not to mention the brains) to speak out.

  • very nice video fav*****

  • LOL! that "commercial" is genius!

  • Ron Paul... is only anti-war... the rest of him is nothing but a conservative... and super scary one at that. Don't be fooled.

  • Tell your ma, tell your pa, Ron Paul's gotta win, or we're all behind bars!

    RON PAUL 2008!

  • haha very true

  • Many people will watch, many more will agree.

  • brilliant!

  • war on drugs = drug dealers have an excuse to sell it 10x higher price. also drug addicts have to spend all their money on drugs instead of being able to have a decent life, even with adiction. also, politicians can fill the media with puppet drug busts so that the average dumbass can sit at home thinking he's in a safer place now. war on drugs = made by twats to make other twats think they are safer.

  • Prohibition = more dealers in our schools and residential areas. What a way to protect our youth.

  • ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT WAS GREAT

  • ROFL, PRICELESS!!!

  • Ron mother fuckin Paul.

  • I love this video and the message, if only more people would see this :)

HOLD FOX, ABC, CNN AND CBS HOSTAGE UNTIL AIRED!!!! WOOT!(eh, too much work... <--smoke a bowl)

  • good stuff

  • Will this ever be aired on television?

The best part is the guy with the bong on his couch.

  • I wish this was on TV... it would be nice to see it nationally, in contrast to those stupid ondcp ads...

  • Superbowl would be REALLY cool..

    But that would cost MILLIONS..

Better settle for american idol :(

  • Whoever is doing the voice over for this is really, really good.

    Wow.

    Really good. He nailed it.

  • Never have i seen a cartoon that said so much. Unfortunately the pharmaceutical companies are pushing their drugs and making billions, side effects and all. Pot is a very simple solution to many medical problems including depression. Remember God created pot as one of his creations. pass em if you got em

  • Brilliant. God Bless Ya!

  • Fantastic!! I think it's even better than the comedy network. This needs to be seen by everyone!

  • Outstanding! Says it all and says it well.

  • I wish I could laugh behind the tears.

  • but what if i want my tax dollars to imprison me for smoking a little pot?

  • lol arrow penis

  • not funny... too true to be funny.. I'm crying on the inside. ;)

  • Now THATS funny lol

  • best video ever made,

watch mine, they suck compared to this but at least if you watch them i'll be happy

  • Que chinguen a su madre todos los putos gringos y toda su puta politica de mierda

  • FUCK YA rock on the best was... do not mix incarceex with common sence haha i love it

  • This is an amazing satirical piece that I think is justifiably good enough to air on the comedy network.

  • well done

  • In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, [was there] the tree of life, which bare twelve [manner of] fruits, [and] yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree [were] for the healing of the nations.

  • Legalize my marihuana and sell it to me in a store. If we could throw a little excise tax on it then the rich can go ahead and keep their damn tax breaks, my country will become richer then ever, my drug war prices will still probably go down, and we can bomb any country we want. I doubt however that the new pot smoking taxpayers will like their taxes spent on that. We can tell the upper class to shut-up, and leave our government alone since they don't pay taxes.

  • sounds like you smoked all of your marijuana already.

  • Great video! Makes you wonder will the hypocrisy ever end?

  • such a GREAT idea. i love the side affects at the end. genius

  • Good work.

Why do you choose the drug problem as the scapegoat? Is that the current diversion in America?

  • One of many, the American political system is built on scapegoats and diversions and has been for the last 40 years or so. The Drug War being one of the largest and most long term of these, its a good place to start.

  • lmao! great job!

  • thats a great plan----now make a pill that gets the illegals back across the border

  • Do you have to take your racist xenophobic comments everywhere you go or just on this one?.

  • hahaha may spread HIV or AIDS nice.

  • GREAT !!!!!

  • I wish they could get this ad to run on real television. It's been in my Favorites list for a while now!

NO MORE DRUG WAR. Stop imprisoning the Cannabis Culture!

  • beautiful, very professional

  • Weed should be legal already, its time to stop with draconian method of thought.

  • Weed should never have been made illegal in the first place... lolz

  • "yeah if you consider the income and stability of the personal lives of people who don't take drugs and compare it to those who do I'm sure the drug users are coming out on top."

and if you compare the values of "drug users" with non-users i'm sure you will find that income and stability are not top priority for REAL human beings :)

  • i just had a buddy busted about a week ago, NON VIOLENT DRUG OFFENSES... are bulllshit!

  • Great short. It should be on TV. Prohibition hasn't worked in over 70 years, including alcohol. Most people know this already...

  • If a junkie is supplied with his heroin by the state you take the criminals and the criminality out of the equation.

At a fraction of the cost socially and fiscally.

The war on drugs has not worked.

  • Sorry folks, but drugs are a real problem, even if you don't "hurt" people.

    ----

They are a medical and social problem, not a criminal justice problem. Drug abuse and addiction should be dealt with by doctors and social workers, not by police with battering rams and machine guns.

  • the worst drug ever is alcohol. alcohol addiction, poisonings, FAS, violence car crashes. the next is tobacco, open your eyes drugs are everwhere. weed is non-toxic, and pot makes people relaxed not violent the problem with weed is the war on drugs that makes cops and the public enemies,

  • I'll agree with you copcorona. However, it's going to be a long time before pot get legalized. The government makes money on pot arrests and fines. There no money to be made by the government in crime fighting.

  • Postie1, true, but there's probably even more money in levying taxes on various currently illegal drugs.

Sort of the way state governments rake in the dough on alcohol and cigarette taxes.

  • can anyone come up with a reason to continue this war on drugs? I mean beyond the "pot smokers will rape our women and then kill our women" (from the 30's film reefer madness) or the modern myth "by keeping pot illegal I can keep my kids off drugs" Hello, it is easier for kids to get weed than it is for them to get alcohol. The most effective way to keep kids from smoking pot is to legalize it and have a minimum age like alcohol. We can change the world. We have the power!

  • Ah, that brings me back to my high school days.

Easy access to all manner of illegal drugs, but getting enough alcohol for a party, now that took a fair bit of planning.

  • I'm sorry, ipostyvideo, but locking someone up for putting drugs in their own body and not hurting other people is unacceptable -- even if you think drugs are wrong or unhealthy. Look at the whole website. Haik Hoisington is the master animator behind it.

  • Great vid! Thanks!

  • while the video is cute, the website behind this is just plain benighted. Sorry folks, but drugs are a real problem, even if you don't "hurt" people.. this ad/website are trying to legalize drug use..

  • ipostyvideo, so what if they are? A significant fraction of retired law enforcement officers also favor legalization/regulation.

The federal government has no constitutional authority to regulate what sovereign individuals do to their bodies.

Besides, the single most dangerous and damaging drug known to man is both popular and legal. That drug, of course, is alcohol. And societal health actually improved after prohibition was ended.

  • GREAT AD! Where can I get information on who created it?

  • um.. at the end of the video?

  • Thanks for posting. Nice to see people not afraid to talk about the ugly truth.

  • Did you like this video?

If you did, send it to one friend.

We have to spread the word.

We have the power to stop the war.

  • good video, i love the truth

  • very well done!

  • Seoquel is an anti psychotic and is not something doctors routinely give out!

  • dont laugh go to you doctor tell him your stressed out and he will give you that shit the generic name is seroquel .... worst shit ever

  • Increase in terrorism? illegal drug money does fund terrorism, if drugs sales went unchecked then drug production would prove more lucrative.

  • um no. The only reason there are enormous profits are because "illegal" drugs demands black market prices. If you legalized many of the now illegal drugs the profit would diminish so much it would be not worth it. Although you'd hurt the prison industry, the CIA, and the big banks that launder most of the drug money.

  • But all the money would be going to legitimate business.

  • In the end, "winners" are loosing much more than, what they themselves calls "loosers", loose.

  • yeah if you consider the income and stability of the personal lives of people who don't take drugs and compare it to those who do I'm sure the drug users are coming out on top.

  • giantfishhead: material possessions (income) isnt something that you should take into account when judging users and non-users and stability isnt driectly related to use/non-use, in any case who are you to judge anyone?.

  • Yup... those winning perscription drugs are just perfectly good for you! Just ask Elvis, Anna Nichole Smith, El-Rushbo, and all the kids on those perfectly safe ADD pills that go on shooting sprees at school! Yup... doctors know better than you do... fo-sho!

  • Sean, do you think that locking those celebs up would help them? Anything can be used incorrectly. The point of the ad is that a "war" doesn't work.

  • Great! please keep it up. lampoon these bastards!!!!!!!!

  • I have a problem. I can't keep my election for more than 2 minutes... :/

  • Good work.

  • This is hilarious... hope it goes viral

  • Excellent!

  • Wow. This has to be the most awesome video I've seen. I wonder if they can get this on television...

  • Hahaha A+

  • Excellent video!! Needs to be on the tube in NH and Iowa!!

  • Excellent work. Great website too. Forwarding to everyone I know will appreciate this and your efforts.

  • Bravo!

  • Excellent.

  • Wow. Awesome!

  • good work

  • A pretty obvious fake, but well done anyway.

  • Aren't you smart?

  • Get out and vote! Don't complain if you don't actively vote and promote politicians that want to end the senseless drug war, such as Dr. Ron Paul. End prohibition!

  • step away from the koolaid....

  • the govt is only supposed to be in charge of picking up the trash every week, and making sure our roads and schools are all in good shape, they are not supposed to dictate all of our lives.the worse thing about these dictators is that they are paid(very well)to ruin as many lives as they can.

  • the prison/military-industrial complex we live in is becoming evident to everybody. power corrupts, its time to take the power away from the govt and put it back in our own hands as it was always supposed to be.

  • all of the really bad drugs were invented by the govt.the very same govt that pretends to fight it.the war on drugs is a war to get everyone on them so they can make money from selling it and incarcerating the users, and to control population.

  • WOnderful Video. i've got the hook-up to cheap incarcerex. contact me for more info.

  • The war on drugs is a loser but now we can all have faith in the 'war on terror'. the unseen enemy that is everywhere that we must fight preemptively. The war on terror is more silly than the war on drugs.

  • you are right. any time the government has a "War" on anything.. it turns into a war on it's own citizens... I'm sick of it.

  • Prohibition didn't work for them, so they picked a new target and gave it some PR spin and called it "the WAR on drugs" Poloticians love a good war.

The truth is that they have led the war based on almost a century of mis-information and blatant lies about the substances in question.

  • The war on drugs is a total failure that we dump billions of dollars into, and while sonesubstances are truely a danger to the individual, you can not limit one's own choices about their body in a scociety that wants to call itself free.

  • us government is addicted to wars of all types

  • Vote for Ron Paul! He'll end the entire War on Drugs!

  • Vote For Mike Gravel! he supports the decriminalization of marijuana.

  • extremily well made and well thought out, plus its clever. excilent. stop the drug war!
