So 999 HP in Final Fantasy 1 scales to 9990 HP in PlayStation Final Fantasies and later, or are the Light Warriors just weak? If the later then Squall wouldn't even need a limit break, just one regular hit and boom, Chaos is done.

@Aki0Shin Actually, you choose your characters in the beginning. Therefore, you choose what jobs they will have, except they have those jobs forever. So, he could have used monks if he had wanted to, but that choice would have been ages ago. It is possible to beat the game using nothing but monks.

@adrianlozan232 ninja used temper on knight and monk, red mage used haste on them and wall(ithink thats what its called it raises magic defense) along with curaga every once in a while. eventually monk and knight started doing 3000+ damage so i started using my strongest moves and throught the stretch of the battle chaos started killing them one by one untill the knight was left with 250 HP and the next attack that my knight made killed chaos. and thats how i did it withought cheats or codes.

@rockmanlipe Uhh... he didn't cheat... I had 999 HP when I got to Level 99 on one of my playthroughs. It's not that hard to get to 99, you just Grind on the enemies inside this area.

Just have 2 Masters, a black mage and a white mage.

Use Haste on your white mage and allow your black mage to attack/Nuke.

He'll go down in 2~4 turns.

i just used a monk white mage and two black mages. Haste and temper first turn on monk with both black mages and the monk uses giant's gloves. White mage heals every turn and black mages keep casting temper and monk attacks for 2000 damage a turn, easy fight

I Finnished The last Boss under 2 mins he only did 3 attacks on my Party,and i used a Master, Ninja,Black Mage,White Mage, cast Temper and Haste whit ninja and Black mage on master and you Easely out DMG a knight whit the ultima weapon eaven when master is unarmed...

My party was lvl 90, and all buffs wher used on The Master such as Stacking Temper haste and using Giants Glove for accuracy+attack for massive dmg.Btw Master is CHEAPER Than a Knight and do more Dmg

yea i had everything to the highest when i fought Chaos. all i did was train and tats it. I was a red mage, i had a white mage, ninja, and warrior. they all took like 5000 damage or more after i powered them up. awesome.

When I beat Chaos, I had all members 999HP, 2 Members (White and Black Mage) 999MP and all of them were level 92 (I started the Palace at level 70 its very easy to level up in there) All members had the best armour and weapons including excalibur, And I had 999999gil with 99 of every item. This battle took me about 5 minutes :P
