@KnittingPasta Keeshonden and Pomeranians are related breeds. Both are northern spitz breeds, descended from the ancient dogs of Lapland, so, with common ancestors, it makes sense that they look similar.

yeah , the reason the dog is barking is because is isn't getting enough exercise. walk or run him and he'll calm down. I know because my dog was crazy like this and it was cause i never exercised him.

I wonder what it is about these beautiful creatures that makes one a fan for life... ours is a loud bitch (literally) and too smart for her own good. They have an attitude like a feline - play when they want/with the rules they want. Sometimes i Just want her to shut up and and be a dumb dog like our boxer, who can be amused by a smudge on the floor for hours... but, I never waiver in my affection to this loud fur ball (who has her Diva attitude 24 hours a day)
That great video brought back fabulous memories of our Keeshond that lived to be almost 14 yrs. old. When she was in the snow she was in her element. She could play for hours. I never had a nicer and more obedient dog than our Keeshond, which we named Boo Boo. Thanks again for the video.

I had a Keeshond puppy as a child, but unfortunately he got run over. I still miss him and have thought about getting another as an adult.
