So Moore jumps on board with the Dems in the 2004 and 2008 elections despite approving wars, domestic spying, torture, removal of our right to trial and on and on.
And now he pledges to hold our votes back?
And again, he poses two options, the Demicans or Republicrats. All while standing at Public Citizen, a Ralph Nader founded organization?
Pfft, Michael Moore said the same thing to Democrats before the vote authorizing the Iraq war. Then he turned around and said everyone better vote for Democrats in 2004-- who voted for the authorization. He'll turn around and support the Democrats next year.
At the very least a strong public option! That IS the compromise. Anything less will fail to cut costs and not keep the insurance companies from gouging policyholders and taxpayers.
What the President and Congress should realize is that if a Big Pharma and Big Health Insurance sellout bill gets passed then signed into law, the legions of betrayed, who sat by patiently and civilly, will have no choice but to react in 2010 and 2012!
you a fan of ralph nader? he's been talking about this stuff for a very long time.. I had the pleasure to hear him speak this afternoon on single payer at portland state here in oregon..
"I and a lot of other people have every intention of removing you from Congress in the next election if you stand in the way of health care legislation that people want".
We know who Obama is now.
We know we're in big trouble.
So get ready. Things could get very bad.

I have sent this clip to my Democrat friends and asked them to pass it out and get loud.
We have the majority, let's stop fussing about Republicans, who will never get on board and start holding our own party accountable!

Capitolism is an awsome movie. Thank you Micheal Moore for standing up for the common man. Everyone should see this movie, at least once.
