@DoIphZiggler theres was once a guy called Joe Meek, he was like Mark Ronson of the 60s, he made this , he was the alchemist of British rock. everything you hear today is in some way influenced by him, there history lesson over.
Your getting some strange comments on here ? If you want the true story about David Screaming Lord Sutch, go to my web-site colindaleradiosutch All will be revealed. David Sutch and I grew up together, in Charteris Road, Kilburn, London, NW6. We went to the same school, Salusbury Road Kilburn, from the age of 5 years old. I worked with him, and for him for several years. We both used to sing at the 2 Is coffee bar 59, Old Compton Steet, Soho. London. Regards, colindaleradiosutch
@chicklo : actualy i think if you do a little more research you'll uncover the truth to his passing. which was nothing even close to shooting himself. as i was a very close friend to see things writen like this greatly upsets me.
Great upload, David and I were boyhood pals in Kilburn, London NW6. I worked for David for 3 great years as compere, disc jockey and singer - really miss the guy. Colin Dale, Radio Sutch
Pity there's a bit missing at the start - but congrats on finding THIS. I saw it on a "soundie" video jukebox in '63. I then SAW the great man twice, in the '70s. First at the Wembley Rock 'N' Roll concert, then at "Flashback '67" - where he nearly burned the hotel down! The man was a god.
I saw Screaming Lord Sutch around 1974 or '75. It was at the Bijou theater, in Hollywood, about 20 feet west of Grauman's Chinese Theater. The place only sat about 30 people and played old movies, exclusively. I went there a bunch of times and saw some great movies. Sutch performed by himself, singing and playing an electric guitar, between showings of "Don't Knock the Rock" and "Rock Around the Clock." He sang 50's songs and jumped around like Tinker Bell on speed.
@PontiusKak In-fact, suffering from depression in 1997, at the death of his mother he shot himself with a former band member's shotgun. Britain's best ever politician.

@Silverdart00 That's interesting, anyway The Monster Raving Looney Party is probably the only party worth voting for, the thing is i find it hard to vote for them, i did ask them how can i vote for you and when i went to the ballot to vote, a box for who i want to vote for is never there! I think we are under the illusion of a democracy here in the UK.
This is from an interview with him... Who do you think was the first fuzz solo?
RB-I've been on the scene for so long. Therefore, I knew pretty well who played om what and when and so on. The first fuzz-box ever used on a guitar for a recorded solo was used by the Rip Chords about 1957. The first fuzz-box solo ever played in England was by a guy named Bernie Watson, on a record in 1960 called "Jack the Ripper," by Sreaming Lord Sutch. It was a B side.
The White Stripes are the most boring band in the world live, I'd rather sit through a Stryper concert. He needed Loretta Lynn to resurrect his career. Total big label madison avenue fluff !!!

yes Ritchie blackmore was the lead guitar of the Outlaws an english bans who backed also Gene Vincent during english tours and German dates at the Star Club of Hambourg. you can hear Gene with the outlaws on the rockstar cd Bluejean bop.
