  • That's amazing.

  • I almoat started raping at the beginning

  • Verily it's too easy to wait for scientists to discover something and then choosing the meaning(s) that fit the discovery among other interpretations.

Strangely, finding new facts in the Quran BEFORE researchers is more difficult.

So, by definition your verse isn't a prediction at all.

....hence, arguments from scientific miracles are both useless to religion and science.

  • This star is called Tariq because it comes at night, and by analogy, night visitors knock at the door to enter. So, the verse just mention a star appearing at night, although interpreters diverged on the actual star refered to.

Well, what you did was reinterpreting the verse after the fact in order to get what you expected then you wondered how its author had knew about pulsars.

    There is nothing astonishing!

  • Probably Venus.

A pulsar is very easy to comprehend, it's just not something you see all the time.

    From your description:

"None of the solar system planets meets all those criteria because:"

    A-They don't knock, they spin.

B- But the Quran apparently doesn't understand what the Sun, stars, or meteors are to begin with. (Quran 7:54, 67:5)

C- A similar "piercing" is used to in 37:10. Venus is more piercing than anything in the night sky other than the Moon.

    You're stretching.

  • @OptimisticCynic715

    A. Knocking: Regards to the transmission of radio waves into sound waves. You could see that in the universe series regarding the episode pulsars.

    B. 7:54? what video are you watching?

    C. Piercing as in pulsars are one of the most energetic stars or sources of radiation in the sky/ universe, only surpassed by magnetars and quasars, magnetars being a breed of nuetron stars which the pulsar is classified under as well.

  • @TheBackstreetBoys100

A - Yeah, I can shine a flashlight back and forth across a photo-sensor gadget that makes a sound. The flashlight isn't making the sound, the gadget is making it, translating the light into sound.

B - ABC were referring to the text/description under the video, near the bottom.

C - Quran 86:1-3 is so vague, it could be anyones guess. And stars don't come at night, though it may have appeared that way to someone with little understanding of them.

  • @OptimisticCynic715

Quran (7:54) I know wanna say here that god created the day and created the sun separately lol. learning the language is the way to understand this. understand the Arabic sentences structure n the Quran then start talking.

(67:5) talking about specific stars (which stars?) didn't told us

(37:10) linguistic issue. Arabic word (thakib) has a lot of meanings > piercing, ((burning)) .... etc

also means (thing that creating hole). the death of Pulsar making hole (black hole)

  • @HussainAA1 "understand the Arabic sentences"

7:54 "wal-shamsa wal-qamara wal-nujooma" A verse that says the Sun IS a star might be interesting. What else do I not understand?

67:5 So it specifies unspecified stars. I guessed the "shooting stars" 8P. Can I physically punch a jinn in the face?

37:10 Linguistic issues. Convenient. Maybe the message should be clearer 8P

Do pulsars only come at night?

  • @OptimisticCynic715

(7:54 "wal-shamsa wal-qamara wal-nujooma" A verse that says the Sun AND a star from where did u bring IS)

(67:5 So it specifies unspecified stars. I guessed the "shooting stars" 8P. Can I physically punch a jinn in the face?) No you can't

(37:10 Linguistic issues. Convenient. Maybe the message should be clearer) Linguistic issues FOR U. I SPEAK ARABIC AND I HAVE NO ISSUES HERE.

why don't we stick to wht is the video talk about. if have points about the video share them

  • @HussainAA1 "if have points about the video share them"

I mostly address points "A B C" in skakvac's text under the video (vid is mostly images, nothing Quran related after 1st 12 seconds).

    Point B - Quran cosmology:

"the Sun AND a star" Right, but the Sun IS a star. The Quran referenced them as separate things, while sometimes comparing Sun to Moon.

If jinn are not susceptible to physical attack, should I assume "specific stars" are magic?

C - A perfect message should be more accessible

  • @HussainAA1

    (1/2)

1st comment - It mentions them separately in the same statement. "The Sun and stars are subservient, as well as the Moon" would've been a little better, but Q 7:54 it puts the Moon between Sun and stars, as if they had no relation at all (as someone 1400 yrs ago might've guessed).

2C - Q 67:5 & 37:6-9 suggest stars or meteorites, physical objects, can affect jinn. So, if I knew where a jinn was, I could punch it?

Other religions twist their holy books words fit, too.

An embryo doesn't look like a leech. They always hold up a black and white line drawing to support that. An embryo is not a clot.

The Greek or other info could have been learned in a conversation.

If everything happens by decree of Allah, Allah could've planned ahead and made the language and Quran more specific and detailed, not so vague and confusing.

Other people take other religious books and convince themselves of truths that just aren't there.

  • 2nd comment

(If jinn are not susceptible to physical attack, should I assume "specific stars" are magic?) jinn are not susceptible to physical attack BY HUMAN coz we can't see them. God can see them and can eliminate them.

(A perfect message should be more accessible) IT IS FOR WHO REALLY SEEKING FOR THE TRUTH.

do you know that the Miraculous thing in the Quran. THE ARABIC LANGUAGE. the words Quran use in describing things like the pulsar giving the best description next comment pls

another example the word (Alaq) this is the first word describing the embryo. this is the best word in Arabic we got it from the Quran. this single word describing the structure and the function of the Embryo in it's meaning. the translation of this word is Leech. in Arabic it has this meaning and many other meanings. many ppl claim that this is stolen from Greeks. BUT (ALAQ) IS NOT GREEK. how come Illiterate man live in the Arabian desert telling us such thing??

  • @HussainAA1 What I think is astounding is how Muslims claim all of these so-called scientific miracles N the Quran, yetMuslims R never the 1's who discover any of these things. Show me a Muslim who discovers something new from going by something said in the Quran, & then it will at least be believable enough to look into it. All of the so-called scientific miracles N the Quran have been debunked b/c of either twisting words so hard 2 get it to fit or it had already been discovered B4 the Quran

Quran is not science book. however it gives a very simple description of many things using simple words that give the best description. I'll give easier example than this one. the Quran in 78:7 describe the mountains using Arabic word "Awtad"... we call he nails that used to hold the tent Awtad. the physical description of the nail is that part of it appear and the other part is under the ground same thing with the mountains. see the next comment

  • @FreedomLover4Ever

comment 2/3 the other thing is the function. the purpose of these nails is to keep the tent holded "Awtad" well this is also the function of the mountains (to prevent shaking the land) as the Quran mentioned too in 21:31.. however are ALL "Awtad" the same?? NO! some of them are stronger than the other for both tent and mountains and both of them can be affected by external factors

this what Muslims believe and the science later on proved it

u r asking where are Muslims from science today?? well I don't know. there were so many muslims scientists in the middle ages and I think I have to read about it. we had a massive scientific movement just enjoy watching this documentary and ask what happened?

    watch?v=FLay7RD3kEw

  • @HussainAA1 There, also, were not many great scientists N the middle ages. They were all commentators. TheyStoleFromTheGreeks.PersiansIndiansArmenians, etc. & tried 2 take credit 4 many thingsTheyDidNotDo. I've read all about it. MuslimsHistory is theMost controversial history N the world, full of nothing but propaganda/lies. ArchaeologistsHaveBeenSearching 4 over 100 yrs 2 findEvidenceOf the Muslim "glory days" butHaveFoundNot 1 ShredOfEvidenceOfThem. EveryCountryMuslimsTouchTurns N2 shitholes

  • @FreedomLover4Ever Does it really matter who discovered the things first?? ok we're stupid we didn't discover anything but you ( the west ) did, but you know now that all that is mentioned in coran , coran that came to existence before even you described that, doesn't this move your mind ?? how could you be so close minded ( sorry for the word ); May god enlighten your heart :))

  • @FreedomLover4Ever I meant before even you discovered that sorry for the mistake

  • a pulsar emits EM waves, something we can't hear. when discovered it was probably seen on a screen or a monitor, not as a sound. It has only been translated by humans to sound waves so you can hear it from your computer. In reality, the pulsar doesn't make a sound, so the Qur'an doesn't really make any sense in what it says.

  • @hujnbds when ur path goes towards ignorant and loss then all the signs u can reject by so many means...

quran is not saying if u can hear it. it just says knocking star and which is peircing and by that time people wouldn't have believed it therefore quran says How will you comprehend what the The Knocker is?.. it just took us radio waves to know it and for peircing i think when it explodes it rips the very fabric of space as blackhole but um not sure why peircing anyways have a gud one
