  • im runnin a 102" whip too and its great and i got a dummy one on the other side for symmetry and the look

  • whats the best megnetic whip to use? i have radioshack crack

  • @motocrossmark400 102" steel whip

  • @motocrossmark400 102" steel whip or a wilson 5000 mag mount

  • Forget what I said below this. I think the problem is from my power plug thing that goes into the cars cigarette lighter outlet.

  • Tell me something please. Is it just my Cobra 19 Ultra III that is crap? I used a tuned K30 CB antenna with it and I was told I sounded quiet. On my end of the CB I got a lot more static then with my roadmaster CB radio. So what is up with my CB? Can anyone answer me? All in all I think it is junk, cheap junk.

  • Shame, mine works fine. We also have a European version of this rig and it has FM as well as AM and works great.

  • They suck mines pa won't work an sometimes the LCD screen won't work either

  • i have this same radio, its nice for a starter to the mobile CB's.

  • How well do you think this CB would work in home with a magnent styyle antenna?

  • i have this cb in my car and a lil wil wilson mag mount antenna on my trunk and i still cant get it to work after tuning it :( can someone help :(?

  • why cant you use those in the uk? are they only for lew enforcement over there?

  • Over here in the UK we aren't allowed to use AM modulation. We can use 80 channels of FM on the CB band but currently no AM. In the rest of Europe AM is allowed and may one day be allowed here but for the moment we have to stick with FM (oh and no SSB either in the UK!)

  • all right first,

yea i have this in my pickup, its a decent radio for a beginner. as soon as i get a new truck i will upgrade but this is a decent radio, alot has to do with the antenna u put on it.

  • Yes it's a nice CB and very easy to use. The antenna does make all the difference though. I've been using a K40 on my set up recently.

  • yea, i hear those k40's are amazing. i'm using the cobra 1500, not bad could be better. next time i'm gonna try the little wil

  • @rigsearch K40 is for a truck, right? What would you recommend for in home antenna with this CB?
