True, but the NTSB has concluded that those findings pertain to the 51% homebuilt models. This particular Zodiac was built by AMD, a very reputable company with an outstanding safety record. Furthermore, it is suspected that the aircraft that failed were flown in excess of their capabilities. This is not an acrobatic rated plane.
@Martbrant If you're worried just install the manufacturer's upgrade package as prescribed in the FAA's SAIB. Best I can tell, this plane is probably the most tested (and now also proven) LSA out there.
Many of these planes fall out of the sky due to wing structure failure.
I won't fly in them.

Well, that isn't correct...however I know that's what they would like to hear... all them amateur builders are messing up the design.
NOT TRUE, also Zenith factory built planes drop, with the same upfolding wing issues.
Go figure...but they'll never admit the faulty design...it will cost them millions ...
