  • Best song on the album.

  • vasoline style...............................

  • great album, great band

  • The Name Reminds me of Led Zep, but the song brings Badassery :D

  • Still getting used to the other songs on this album but this one hit the spot from the beggining, real rock and roll as far as i'm concerned

  • I don't care what anyone says, but I love the way that STP can make all their albums sound different from eachother, in a good way!

  • ALL the other songs I thought were great. THis one not so much. Not as good as the first really rocking tune I heard on here. Maybe this song will grow on me.

  • New album super vintage sound! ... thats a crazy shit! BTW I miss old grungy fat agressive guitar sound but new ones are quick correct!

  • @tuterc12 QUITE correct I mean .... Damn it xD

  • one of the best songs on the album, it has a bit of a Funk sound about it. i love it. i can rock out and air guitar to this song anytime

  • @wellisaythat

Happens to the best of us man, atleast ur getting blazed to awesome music lol

  • Favorite. Done and done.

  • i went through thier new album and this just speaks to me... vote on prop 19 if u live in california

  • i went through thier new album and this just speaks to me...

  • From what I understand moonstar is a misled douchewaffle...

  • i wonder what this song is about...

  • @BleedThemBones scotts relationship with his father

  • I agree. It definitely stands out from the rest of the songs on the album. I also wish there we more like it.

  • Best song on the album in my opinion. Has the old STP feel, but with different producing.

    I love it.

  • This band is fantastic. But this album, although a sound of its own, just doesn't sound like the others. Now I know they are very diverse, but their "Golden Era" were their early days. Scott Weiland obviously changed his singing, and its weird to listen after you grew up with "Core" and "Purple." props to them for making through their tough types but I am going to back out from this album.

  • @VariantFolklorist non of the stp albums sound the same. they all have there own feel.

  • @VariantFolklorist I agree, the music they did back in the 90's has a certain rebellious/teenage angst sound to it. This sounds like they lost sight on what made their music so good. I agree, I'll stick with listening to their old albums.

  • A Amazonia é nossa!

  • While this is a good track, it seems stp is treading water when they should be swimming. Nothing really groundbreaking on this album IMO. There'll never be another Purple.

  • @Footfeed1 groundbreaking is a poor choice of words..no band has done anything "ground breaking " since led zeppelin ! STP are doing fine and writing good music as usual..the american music industry, especially in the rock genre need a veteran band like STP who can play their instruments like the seasoned pros that they are, and show all these wanna-be metal, /rock punk pussy bands in their 20"s how it's really done..and trust me, they are swimming in their musical success and acomplishments!

  • @Footfeed1 they've achieved what no band has from their era !!..immense success ,respect, most importantly, longevity ! so that in itself IS ground breaking !! purple was a great album and can never be repeated as such..IMO tiny music was the album that put them towering over every band from that time...nothing ground breaking there, but that's where they came into their own, evolved, changed their grungy sound and became versatile and accomplished song writers and musicians.. !

  • Save The Penguins

  • @WesMott1994 haha

  • Super Tight P****

  • WOW...unbelievable, weiland still kick ass...best STP album so far from my point of view

  • @berayutmak idk about best so far but it is certainly their best is sometime. My fav will always be Core followed by Purple.. than this and # 4... One cal also argue that tiny music was pretty rad.. I've grown up with these guys.. Love it!

  • @berayutmak whoa fuck, are you serious? this is the best stp album they've done? what have you been listening to. Im embarrassed to even call this a pilots album. this album is horrendous so far. i havent liked one song. its just fucking poppy bull shit without an ounce of edge. theyre first four albums were flawless. shangri was decent, but this is making shangri seem like a masterpiece.

  • @24jamestown As much as I want to disagree with you, I can't. This album just doesn't have that STP soul like the previous albums. Just feels so... empty. Been a huge STP fan since the beginning and this is the worst album yet.

  • @slickgokubab I agree.. though between the lines, take a load off and fast as i can are decent it doesn't really feel like STP... and the lyrics don't really make much sense

  • Probably the best track on the album.. btw, it IS a great album, STP fans will already know that.

  • I absolutely LOVE Dean's solo in this song! What a fitting end to a kick ass jam! And Scott does a great Robert Plant impression!

  • Good stuff, we need more of this these days. I think it's better then the new chains or pj albums...

  • GROOVY! it makes me want to dance like scott!

  • he wrote this about his father his real father scott is the best

  • shitty toliet paper

  • Agreed. Core had a lot of "punch" songs. This album works for me though. Got a little of everything really. Beats the hell out of the new Kiss album and the Pearl Jam one. Even the new Alice in Chains rocked!

  • Thank God for bands like STP, Tool, and Radiohead still being around in 2010. Otherwise I wouldn't turn on a radio.

  • haters really don't know what Rock n Roll is. STPs song have always had a wicked groove to them. Not one boring track and Scott being the dance demon he is makes every track dancable.

  • I rate Scotty, but this, uh...if we'll all be honest is poor

  • @jtdurden Lol, it isn't...

go listen to your slipknot, a great band, or not...

    so fuck off

  • bad ass riffs > : ) they rock!

  • This song is so sick

  • Can hear this playing in the background on a nice hot 100 degree day... beer in hand!

  • Best song on the new album if ya ask me.

Strong effort, glad STP are back.

  • ...and there back! rock on STP!!!

  • you never know what to expect from STP ever cd is different and awesome. Love this song

  • So far I am not impressed with any single track on this album. The main lyrics sound like buckcherry

  • How could you say these lyrics sound like buckcherry? This is a ballsy song. It's about Scott Weiland's bad relationship with his father. Plus the rest of the band is rocking behind him. This album has some gems, some people are just too afraid to accept different kinds of music.

  • Janes Addiction sounding, but i still love it

  • this is good....not enough on this album that is in the same vain! Scott needs to hang up his Bowie panties!

  • it's a great album, and this one of the best songs

  • I love this song - if only there were more with the same 'punch' on this album...

Great that STP are back though.

  • @AliceSoundgarden Agree. This song,Peacoat and take a load off are the only three I really like but they all kick ass. Is soundgarden making new songs I know they got back together but is it all old stuff or anything new?

  • I think Soundgarden have written a new song called Black Rain for Guitar Hero (though it could be one pulled from their large number of unreleased songs that Kim is apparently sitting on). I can only guess what they are planning album wise, but I am sure that they are not just in it for the gigs. Many of the tunes played at the Showbox gig were pre-Batmotorfinger, so I hope any new material will be heavy. I'm sure Kim has got some killer riffs up his sleeve after such a long break!

  • @AliceSoundgarden From what I understand, that song was originally supposed to be released on Badmotorfinger.

  • i love stp with a passion. been my favorite band for over 15 years. however this seems to be one of a few tracks off the new album with balls.... not too pleased with the majority of these new tunes i must say. tiny music grew on me after a while, but i don't see that happening here. anyways long live STP

  • I ADORE this tune

  • not bad, the lack of real hard rockers on this album is a shame but after a few listens there is still some nice melodies on there

  • shirley temple's pussy =)

  • @dupersloby smell it smell it take it!

  • @dupersloby

i know exactly what you mean hahaha

only true fans of STP should know this reference

  • @NnysVelvetRevolver

    don't talk to me, bitch.

  • @dupersloby

    And why be a dick?

insecurity flows from your comment, i laugh at how much of an ass you are

im even agreeing with you and yet your a total dick

and dont say that "im a nice person if you knew me"...that doesnt give you the right to be a dick...have nice day...asshole

  • @NnysVelvetRevolver haha... wowzers

  • @dupersloby

i can see that you are aw-struck!

  • @NnysVelvetRevolver shibby.

  • @dupersloby

    moggadafoggada

  • @dupersloby (Homer Simpson voice) 'Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....................... puuuuuussy!!!'

  • @dupersloby you are right man, the sound seems a lot like the early years of stp ( like funk), when they were mighty joe young. I never believed that they would put a song of this style on one of their albums. Anyway, it kicks ass.

  • i like it. only song above this is Fast As I Can.
