Dorcey Wingo's recently published book, The Rise and Fall of Captain Methane, is a complete whitewash of the accident. It's an insult to the victims and the surviving family members. However, he does give an account not offered on the other books about the accident. Immediately following the crash, Landis phones Spielberg, heaving and sobbing. The words that spill out of his mouth are chilling: We killed them! We killed them!

Throughout the trial John Landis liked to paint himself as the victim. He has never accepted responsibility for Renee or Mycah's deaths. He's a coward and a disgrace to his profession. He endangered 2 children just so he could get his lousy shot. Renee and Mycah were swept under the rug.

@MrQuadlupe I feel that the pilot of the helicopter Dorsey Wingo also should have been found guilty of murder due to the fact that he was aware of the children being used for the scene and the explosions that were in close proximity to his chopper. Hollywood is full of creeps like Landis and Wingo !!!
