Jerry Lee is I think best known for his rock songs but some of his more romantic songs bring tears to my eyes. I have heard some good piano players but no-one can beat Jerry Lee he makes it talk.

Jerry Lee is obviously not a Wienersängerknabe. However, musically he is one of the founding fathers of Rock and Roll and has influenced many famous artists and groups.

Deep in his heart I think he is  a more sensitive person than anyone may think. The performing and choice of his songs should speak for them.

Earlier in my original speech in which I complained that this man charged me $50 in 1978(2 days of my labor) to give me a one hour performance that I would remember the rest of my life. -I will never for get him falling off the bench. He has provided the world the HISTORY of Rock n Roll! In my opinion he can do whatever he likes, as he has ALREADY given MORE to this world than most ever will, or have! I love what he's done! LOVE! thanks for the comeback-30 years ago I was making $5/hr before they took out for SS, Feds, State, SDI and the rest. It took me two days pay for my tickets to supposedly see this guy play for 1 hour. He got his money and gave us (his fans) the finger. He did not refund 1c nor say he was sorry. If he just had to get loaded up he should have called it off, given us a rain check and had someone at the gate to make a likely excuse. It was a sad day for me as I have not been a fan ever since.

@whitesandnsun I agree with you 100%. Too many people are too quick to focus on the 'negatives' if you will, without recognizing that performers are human too.  I know that sounds a bit tacky, but pressures etc lead to less than perfect behavior. Besides, compared to more recent "events," his were pretty tame.

I say, just enjoy the memories - and, of course, the music (that's what its really all about, right?)
