I will commend this program for at least raising questions that should be asked. The problem is that this show does NOT provide the "motive". Booth Escape Theorists connect VP Andrew Johnson as part of the plot. Mary Todd Lincoln was convinced that "Johnson had some hand in all of this" when JWB's calling card was found in Johnson's box the very Day of the Assassination. Meltzer's Decoded ignores this connection, and the Jesuit /RCC connections to Surratt whose escape to Rome they assisted.
