  • i feel soo good about hearing this music. it just makes me want to weep but also smile and dance and love. good stuff

  • Continual search for beauty, distorted bass that emanated through speakers, back to the spirit of Bessie Smith, lessons in rhythm from Carlinhos Brown and the pride in Samba de enredo across time zones to Nusrat fateh Ali Khan, on the move, soul screaming for music with time and place, to Faytinga and her Kunama warblings, Andamanese chanting...the search goes on and on, intensifying, linking arms with humanity, hearing emotion that resonates...I salute you Hip-Hop, a window to the world.

  • keita. oh keita. the world's hungry for your genius, for your greatness, for your purity of mind and soul. let it shine for the good of mankind. peace.

  • okkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • Salif Keita is the direct descendant of Sondjata Keita (known as Emperor or "Mansa" Mari Djata I) founder of the Mali Empire in 1230, and his model for government would guide the empire into greatness and beyond its zenith toward its eventual dissolution in 1645. That's why the family of Salif, opposed to him when he started to sing, because of his high position. But he continued and he is great, isn't he?

  • @sincensura111066 yes he is great and its is true what you said about his possison he had some problems with the family because Keita's don't sing because of their heigh possiosn and o know all about it because i am a Keita too

  • when i hear this i see hip hop has trash

    i love my culture mande

  • @FireOfpassion Hip hop is not trash but it lost it's way because of wicked record companies that wanted to keep the people deaf, dumb and blind. Hip hop is poetry to music that started off in the Black ghettoes of NewYork. It started off very good for the people until wickedly wise people started looking at how it was raising the morals, values and consciousness of the people making them revolutionary's in spirit they went to work to change the messages format to all negetive. Peace.
