Just a guess, that I heard a Rumor by Bananarama was inspired by this song? Cause' some of the tune is the same. Anyway, its good, nice to dance with.
you are right, it has mentioned in Wikipedia (JP) 'Give me up' was released in 86, hight of 'euro disco' (at reast in Japan :-) ) When 'I heard a rumor ' came out, i noticed straight away!'
