Ever seen Friday Night Lights? If you require any sporting movie from the 2000s in a top 100, that, Million Dollar Baby or The Wrestler are the quintessential movies to have definitely. Good choices on the latter two.

Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, Inception, The Dark Knight, any Pixar movie, Citizen Kane, Gone With the Wind. They are all instant classics and timeless.

Great list overall but there were some average or not so great films like Butterfly Effect, which as I recall got slaughtered by critics & while Bruce Almighty is very funny, I wouldn't say it's the best or most quotable comedy of the decade.

Last time I checked, King Kong which got mixed reviews, either way didn't really impact many audiences.

Mystic River & Monster were both good but I doubt they were remembered or rewatched a bunch of times.

Overall,superb choices accompanied by great song
