u no i picked the same damn things to say to him and he turned me down and on the meter or whatever it showed he liked me all the way i was pretty disapointed afterward and now im at the archdemon and i dont really want to go all the way back please tell me if i did go back and picked the same exact things u said to him then might he marry me??!!!?

To harden him you have to have picked "Everyone is out for themselves. You should learn that." when outside Goldanna's house after/during the "Alistair's family" companion quest, this does not alter his opinion of you, and shall permanently "harden" him.

@Zsofi13thmember It's from the Warden's Keep DLC. You find a Meteor Metal and deliver it to the Blacksmith that appears after completing the DLC and he makes you that sword out of the metal. Hope this helps. :D
Alistair is wearing my favorite armor that I wear when I am playing as a human warrior. I notice you have Oghren in the Juggernaut set I never put dwarves in human massive armor they just look too weird with it (besides why would a proud dwarf wear human stuff? lol)

@GRAlexander24 u first have to acquire lots of drake scales once u hav done that go to denrim go to wades emporium u go to the dude ask him to make drake scale Armour for u he tells wade to make it once u have gotton ur armour go to the man again(if u want superior drake scale Armour ask him to make another set when wade makes it its much better than ur first set) if u have dragon bone go talk to him and then he will make uthe Armour(u can get this all free by not paying him lol)

@FantasyForever1 Because Morrigan isn't a Grey Warden, so she isn't tainted. Both the Warden and Alistair have the taint, making it almost impossible for them to conceive a child. They have maybe what.... 2% chance overall? Something like that.

Alistair dumped me right here in the first game. He wasn't hardened, so no persuade options for me. I couldn't believe he could break my character's heart that way, I felt frustrated for my waste of time on him expecting a happy ending!!
Romanced Zevran the next time I played and his love was so much more rewarding. Unlike Alistair, he would NEVER cheat on a wife! Stating his words: "I am a murderer, a thief, a lover, but I am no cheat."

By the way, how many times do you have to play the game to get the 'seen all endings' achievement? Also, do you have to recruit Logain to get the 'recuited all possible players' achievement?

My Alistair hated me - I made him King, he married Anora and Loghain lived. He accepted being King but hated me for the rest of the game - even in Awakening.

Heh. I wasn't satisfied with being his mistress so I let him kill himself in the end. Then I replayed as a female noble and everything turned all right in the end... I think the tragic ending was better, personally, though I loved every moment of the 'romancing' stage with Alistair. He was the cutest out of all the characters, in my opinion.

From a political point of view, making Alistair marry Anora and saving Loghain is the best option.
Sure, it sucks to betray Alistair, but hey. It's not a matter of what we like, it's a matter of what we must do. What's your happiness againt the whole Ferelden.
He can be a real jerk. As a elf warlock, I knew I couldn't marry him, but I didn't think he'd be SO stubborn to keeping me as a mistress. Lets reminisce, shall we?

-You take him to see his long lost sister
-You romance him
-You find Duncan's shield for him
-Also his mother's amulet
-And comfort his sorry ass when he cries over Duncan

@DeatgMagnet True, he was doomed there also. Without the main character issuing orders/programming tactics, Alistair's simple NPC-mind would have failed to clear the tower of ishaal. I remember because he died when I wasn't watching him, leaving me to clean up the mess.

well... I play Dragon Age coz my husband did and it was really cool to play the same RPG. I picked mage just coz I like all the spells, never thought anything about Alistair till he handed my mage PC a rose. I later found out that their relationship ends soon as he becomes king and since I didn't want my pc to just be a mistress, I restarted my game - as a human rogue warrior. This time, Alistair went on every battle. There's a lot more conversations, especially when you take Wynne, too.

Dying young!? They have 30 years to live! If they don't die in battle, of course. They are how old!? 20? 30? So add that they will be in there 50's or 60's. If they live a healthy life of course. But that's besides the point. By the time they die, of the taint, there child would have been in there 30's. That's quite old to learn all the politics and things they need to know how to be a king or queen.

My Alistair hated me - I made him King, he married Anora and Loghain lived. He accepted being King but hated me for the rest of the game - even in Awakening.

Heh. I wasn't satisfied with being his mistress so I let him kill himself in the end. Then I replayed as a female noble and everything turned all right in the end... I think the tragic ending was better, personally, though I loved every moment of the 'romancing' stage with Alistair. He was the cutest out of all the characters, in my opinion.
I can't wait until DA2.

From a political point of view, making Alistair marry Anora and saving Loghain is the best option.

He can be a real jerk. As a elf warlock, I knew I couldn't marry him, but I didn't think he'd be SO stubborn to keeping me as a mistress. Lets reminisce, shall we?
-You save his life at Ostagar
-You take him to see his long lost sister
-You romance him
-You find Duncan's shield for him
-Also his mother's amulet
-And comfort his sorry ass when he cries over Duncan
All along the way, he complains too. What do we get? The short stick. Shale is a better tank & I'm romancing Zev next time.

@DeatgMagnet True, he was doomed there also. Without the main character issuing orders/programming tactics, Alistair's simple NPC-mind would have failed to clear the tower of ishaal. I remember because he died when I wasn't watching him, leaving me to clean up the mess.

well... I play Dragon Age coz my husband did and it was really cool to play the same RPG. I picked mage just coz I like all the spells, never thought anything about Alistair till he handed my mage PC a rose. I later found out that their relationship ends soon as he becomes king and since I didn't want my pc to just be a mistress, I restarted my game - as a human rogue warrior. This time, Alistair went on every battle. There's a lot more conversations, especially when you take Wynne, too.

Dying young!? They have 30 years to live! If they don't die in battle, of course. They are how old!? 20? 30? So add that they will be in there 50's or 60's. If they live a healthy life of course. But that's besides the point. By the time they die, of the taint, there child would have been in there 30's. That's quite old to learn all the politics and things they need to know how to be a king or queen.
