Wow. When I read the title, I thought it said Borden instead of Bordon and thought it was about CFB Borden and the Canadian Forces, I was puzzled when I noticed the right hand drive and the DPM that the instructor was wearing. :P
@ArmyAllTheWay08 LOL..I thought the same thing.. didnt recognize the training area nor the vehicles. I was in CFB Borden for my heavy recovery course in 90'. Great memories.
the foden uses two legs at the rear which dig into the earth and can hold up to 50 tones in good ground, so although the handbreak is most likely on... it is not needed :) i hope this helps
Strange enough for a modern Army,no one wear helmet. The only hope for trainees is the tedious "instructer" in camouflage fatigue who like so much stands beside the steel cables, will be soon wrapped in it.
lol i walk my dog round there somtimes and u know the tank that has fallen on 1 side over a hill and to the right of it ther eis a lil armed car well the tank has been used in the comady show bo-salecta for one of stevey wonders jokes i watched it a few mins ago :)

Eeeerr thats because nowones shooting at them all there doing is recovering a tank.
Btw how does the handbrake hold on the recovery vehicle? Youd think 25 tons would drag it down the hill

It's not stealing! It's 'recovery' ;) If it gets a vehicle moving it's a job well done.
There's some tough spots out on the area.
