I really appreciate the list of performers. I wish all gym montages did the same in the descriptions. I keep up with the sport as much as I can, but I still have huge gaps in my knowledge of who's who, and sometimes the film quality is too bad/old to tell just by looking.
great video. It's certainly "all" the fulls! (Practically every single one ever performed by anyone! So many!) but yeah awesome variations. *Loved* the world's best most stuck full in ever at the end! Thanks! xoStephy :P
It is wonderful seeing these. It is interesting that there is such a variety of techniques. Some seem more like an arabian with extra half twist, maybe for optimal beam spotting, some seem like a set with a full twist, and then the flip rotation over, and some seem like a regular back full. Khorkina's and Hamm's really took the cake for me.
Just go past the top right corner of the video and click "more info". You'll see the entire list of athletes in the video along with the year and name of the competition where the vids came from.
i think that the hardest is @ 2:08 when khorkina is twisting from 1 leg. that is the hardest thing i ever saw on beam. i dont think any1 will attempt that. she rocks......
Shishova seems to be the first one who completed one at a Worlds/Olympics, but I have no idea why the skill is never mentioned with her name attached.
3:28 had unbelievable height!

in my opinion The best layout full is: KUI YUANYUAN without doubt.
AND NOWADAYS THE BEST COMBINATION EVER IS: DENG LINLIN back handspring step out, back handspring, layout full, korbut.

Khorkina's is the best. A 5'5" girl doing that and from a Gainer!

Khorkina's full twist is the most beautiful EVER. Too bad she didn't perform it at Worlds or Olympics =( it wasn't named after her.

Pretty cool. But how can you NOT have Shawn Johnson. Her standing full on beam in the 08 Olympics was amazing
coreyhome 3 years ago
Because I made this in 2004. Shawn didn't start doing her full until 2007.

I'm so glad Shishova is in here - a montage of fulls on beam wouldn't be complete without her.
Nice job, love the old footage!
