i think it was because the drummer was too drugged up to play properly. if you listen patrick says something about 'not doing as much coke as this boy does' or something like that after the drummer walked off stage.

it's disappointing that he had to fire him, and so publicly and while obviously intoxicated. i'm not going to say it was right to do and patrick can do no wrong just because i think his music is amazing.

unfortunately everyone can act like he did at times.
