@beaverman17 well put it this way, just last night i cooked up a nice batch of woodlice (think you americans call 'em woodlouse), some nasturtium (a common 'herb' found around the world) with fennel and some potatoes. those woodlice were pretty crunchy, but quite edible, you should give them a go. and no, i'm not joking. i'm serious about my survival skills.

@beaverman17 well, thanks, i just enjoy my survival training time. i try to learn all i can and put it into practice to test how suitable it is in the real world. made a trapping net from jute twine by hand the other day as part of a way to trap small game (i've found noosing is pretty hit and miss). ate some caterpillars that i'm yet to identify (think they were silk moths). don't know what i'm training for, but i'm just obsessed with it...

@beaverman17 btw, how did you find the dandelions? you know their are 2 plants that look almost exactly the same, yet only 1 is the true dandelion. don't worry, the other isn't poisonous. look at the leaves - if they have even fine hairs, it's not a true dandelion. did you roast n grind roots to make 'coffee' or just eat the leaves?

@ozmanofpeace ah hmm i didn't know that. i get a flat rock lay the fish on it with the dandelion leaves under it and the flower petals on top of it and when i can i also lay wild strawberrys and/or rasberrys on top of that. also nice if you're on a hunting trip or what ever to replace fish w/ a venison/elk/moose steak. good stuff.

I really enjoy both Survivor Man and Man vs Wild, but Man vs Wild is so more interesting. Bear is almost constantly moving and showing you new things and you really get to see the environment he is at or says he is at haha. I am not saying Bear is more intelligent cause I know he has other experts with him and Survivor Man is supposedly alone, I am just saying Bear's show is much more worth the watch :)

you would need to take periodic breaks to re hyderate if possible or rest. DE-hydration is a vary possible thing if you dont stop workig. I think the first night shelter and fire are mandatory then after that food. Lots of time to take breaks.
