@JillYvette1 I believe that as soon as they are born, cats should be frequently taken out for a drive. Doing it too rarely or never cause them to develop a fear of cars. I also tried myself to carry my cats with me; they end up meowing during the travel :(

I just bought my cat a Kitty Holster which is like a vest. I am going to take him on his first ride today and hopefully tomorrow over to my parents for Thanksgiving. I would love my cat to have the joyful experience yours does in the car as I want his life to be more than just the condo he lives in.

I guess that's understandable..

My cats are all street cats I took in, they get in fights nearly daily, roam around the neighborhood scaring cats, even dogs, they are truly free and in their element and they come back home every night and sleep at the foot of my bed.

I could never put a leash or a sweater on them, that is taking away their wild tendencies and making them more "human".

To each their own though.
