How do you swipe the keys like that without hurting your fingers? Are you on a keyboard with plastic keys?

yes those are plastic keys, but i can do it on ivories aswell .... on the way down you use your thumb nail, and on the way up i use my index and middle finder nails together ..... it does hurt to start with but once your practice and get the technique it doesnt hurt
