My huge retriever mix, Bossco, used to be scared of his own farts too. Of course, he did have a good reason to be. Once, as a young dog, we were laying about on a Sunday morning in bed. I was reading the paper, which had, thankfully, gotten spread about on the bed, even under Boss. He was asleep laying on his back when suddenly a poop slid out of him. He was, if possible, even more shocked than me, carefully rolled and got off the bed. Fart fears were born; what if MORE THAN AIR SHOOTS OUT?
