When using You Can Handle Them All, by the way, make sure you replace in your mind the suffix -er with the suffix -ing to focus on the behavior label not the person label.
Good vid especially on the part about encouragement. I am still learning that encouragement means to invite behaviours that we as instructors want to see more often. This means using language that is not provocative or that annoys students. I know this b/c I've done it and I'm trying to change. It's hard b/c sometimes, I end up taking my frustration out on students for poor quiz scores or for not doing the homework. The issue is I so easily blame them.
questions:
I love the music you chose. And it's awesome that you credit the bands at the end on your Powerpoint slides.
Using an artist's copyrighted music without their express permission is against the law and unethical.
Unethical or illegal behavior causes everything you claim or say to be suspect.

Good video but pretty basic. For more specific, step-by-step behavior management, check out The Master Teacher You Can Do It All behavior guide.
