If they do plan on releasing the whole series on DVD, I believe what they will do since there were originally 112 episodes, two seasons both with 56 episodes I think they'll divide both seasons into two releasing them into four seasons with 28 episodes, because if they were to release the 2 long seasons with 56 episodes on DVD that would be way too long for a TV season DVD set especially for a Children's TV show.

Wow I remember this episode so well! I've always thought about this every time I saw I spider web ever since I saw this! One of the other episodes of this show that I remember pretty well is the one where Wimzie has a stomach ache and then the grandma made her drink mustard water! I used to watch and love this show. I remember when we had the tv's on at school we would try to watch this (if the teacher was out of the room) but the crazy part about it was that I was in middle school watching this. Oh the fun times when television was still kinda good. (sighs)

I got a VHS tape of this from a thrift store a few weeks back and finally watched it. Its a good show. I don't know if it matters, but the episodes are the one where Wimzie and the other kids try to take care of a goldfish, and the other is where Wimzie keeps a dog from going to the pound.

There's this channel called This and it airs Wimzie on saturdays...it's an extra cable channel, but if you really want it it's worth it...plus it has good movies and other kid shows too.

I love all four of them. But watching the way they behave generated a weird evocation in my mind: the four main characters in STARSHIP TROOPER. Horace is obviously John Rico: a jock. Jonas = Carl Jenkins the nerd. Wimzie is Dizzy Flores the tomboy and Lulu is Carmen Ibanez, more feminine, strong in math, sensitive. Both scripts summon similar values: Citizenship, taking full charge regarding Social Body issues, not seeking individual rewards. In short, social democracy. Anyway.

I used to love this show when I was little!. I had the stuffed Wimzie Doll. at my local zoo, every year they used to have several costumed characters there on special days. and one year Wimzie was there and I bought my Wimzie doll and Wimzie herself hugged my Wimzie doll and I got to dance with her.
