@Thilieph1 The saga was way too long, Buu had way too many forms, Gohan lost his short lived title as the world's strongest and Buu's last form didn't make any sense since he somehow got stronger after losing all the people he had absorbed to strengthen himself in the first place. The only good thing that came out of that saga was Goku vs. Vegeta round 2 and that last epic battle between Goku and kid Buu.

@slwest916 Well...DBZ is all about non-stop action adventure & it went full swing from the moment Buu started absorbing peoples...See, Cell Games was good..but Buu saga took on a cosmic scope...especially with kid buu..WHile i thought Gohan beating Cell was great..The Super Spirit Bomb vs. Kid Buu was just....epic. Every SINGLE person contributed in this saga...Fat Buu...Mr. Satan...Mother Earth defending itself once and for all...as well as Goku...phew.the Genki Dama alone was well worth!!!

@Thilieph1 Everyone participated in the Android/Cell saga and when I say "everyone," I mean all of our beloved characters that had been built up since DB. Everyone trained to take on the Androids but of course, only the Saiyans were actually strong enough to contend... and Tien. That saga was about a deep seeded grudge against Goku that had threatened the entire planet and was also meant to be the passing of the torch. Gohan's power was built up throughout the entire series and just flopped.

@slwest916 I never was in any intention of argueing. I just found that the Buu Saga was not a bad follow up at all after the Cell Saga. MaybeGohan was your favourite hero, so u had to pick that saga as your choice. I admit though, his character development throughout DBZ was superb..But i have this strong HATRED.no offence.some may say...dislike towards Gohan being responsible TWICE for Goku's death..I prsonally love Goku & Vegeta, easily the most beloved characters in d entire series.

Gohan never got Goku killed, Goku just chose to die for his son twice. The second was completely unnecessary because Goku had plenty of time to instant transmission everyone off King Kai's planet. The one thing I truly do hate about the Buu saga is Supreme Kai. The whole thing was his fault. He's terrible at his job

@slwest916 I got ur point... Buu saga got Toriyama burned out.. In fact, the Jap audience got burned out for solid 12 years..DB DBZ & DBGT. Ending at Buu saga was O.k isn't it..? open-endness.. Ending at Cell saga or even Frieza saga would have been..well..inappropriate.. Kai is similar..They should have done the Buu saga..The animations in the fusion & kid buu saga are AWESOME.. they are comparable to the recent anime stndards..damn TOEI for not finishing off the greta franchise...

When it comes to GT I hated the first two sagas. Bring back Android 18 and the old villains was a cool idea as well as explaining why the dragon balls are thrown to the far corners of the planet and that they are not meant to be used so often. @slwest916 Gohan fulfilled his father's wishby becomin a Z-fighter in Cell Saga later fulfilled Chichi's wish bcoming a scholar.but Goku found an unique persona in Kid Buu, which made him to choose Uub..I watched the anime in Jap,,Goku admits that he lost to Kid Buu so he would NOT lose again during the Genki-Dama strugle. So, it shows SSJ 3 somewhat LOST to Kid Buu.. To have a rematch.. thats why it has to be Uub..honestly, Gt was bad IMO..the promising dragons turned out like gay dudes

@Thilieph1 Ahaha well at least the ice and fire dragons were beast. Omega shenron too. Yeah the spirit bomb was about all Goku could do against Buu. I think that final fight should have come around a lot sooner. I consider it to be one of the 4 best fights in DBZ with the others being Goku vs Cell, Gohan vs Cell and Goku vs Vegeta round 2. It's only frustrating because Mystic Gohan was said to be stronger than SSj3 Goku but of course he had to let himself get absorbed.

Gt started off well, the 1st & 2nd episode..then, it lost track..the storyboard writers, animators..everyone was changed..Even the Gt director..Kasai Osamu..that junk was an episode director of DBZ..and turned out to be an anime series director..Damn!!
